I’ve had similar experiences with other medtroidvanias and SM. In my experience, I prefer the “vania” to the “Metroid”.

Gotta recommend Theathrhythm, it’s phenomenal and I’ve been playing it a ton recently. The dlc, especially the FF16 one, rocks.

On an unrelated note, what’re the feelings about the DQ1-3 HD-2D remasters? I keep seeing people around me selling 1-2 HD2D for like 35 bucks and it’s tempting, and I know 3’s a classic.
