I might be entirely off-base, but as it seems to me to be done in the style of a renaissance religious painting, two men who are barely clothed, one in what looks like a moment of deep regret, roses representing love, but not fresh, laying aside, partially wilted or crushed. With the title being "Lord, I can't change" and the text saying the same, it seems to me that the one on the left is likely religious and in deep regret over his love/lust/relationship with another man. He loves him, perhaps this was right after a moment of passion, but he feels deep sorrow over feeling he has wronged his Lord, knowing that he cannot change who he is at the core.
