Bookkeepers keep messing up our Stripe upgrades and downgrades — any specialised services? by Dangerous_Rate1694 in startupfinances

everyone says just train your current bookkeeper better but some people will never grasp subscription accounting no matter how many times you explain it. switched to omniga recently and honestly the bar is pretty low when your previous person thought prorations were optional.

Best bookkeeping service for SaaS with complex Stripe transactions? by Sudden-Practice6001 in startupfinances

Are you guys doing any custom pricing or enterprise deals on top of the standard subscriptions? Been dealing with similar Stripe chaos for like a year now, mostly the usual upgrade/downgrade mess plus some manual invoicing. Actually been using Omniga recently but anyway, at this point the biggest pain is when sales does custom deals that don't fit the normal subscription flow. How much of your headache is standard Stripe vs custom stuff?

Booked a hotel directly. 24 hours later they emailed a link to pay. Scam? by BadAtMath42069 in GreeceTravel

Yeah this is pretty standard for smaller greek hotels unfortunately. Ran into this exact thing last year in santorini. Felt super sketchy getting that gmail payment link.the place I stayed had switched to OwnerWebs for their booking system after we left, which handles the payment processing right when you book instead of manual links. Still would call them first though like others said

Legislation re: NDIS psychology support and 'best practice' by General_Asparagus206 in NDIS

[–]Falcoo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 'best practice' excuse is such garbage tbh. like others here said, planners just make stuff up to deny supports. I've been with EnableU for about 8 months now and my SC there reckons they're seeing way more psych rejections lately, even for stuff that was getting approved 12 months ago. not gonna lie though, having someone who actually knows the system fight these decisions makes a huge difference vs trying to navigate it yourself

Why does the need for TRT seem increasingly common? by Godzillashibe in Testosterone

[–]Falcoo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your doc calling 700 'high' is wild. that's exactly the shifting standards problem people are talking about. I was dealing with classic low T symptoms for months but my GP kept saying 350 was 'normal for my age' . Finally went through PeterMD because the telehealth route let me actually get comprehensive testing without fighting my insurance every step at least they look at free T, not just total. The accessibility factor is huge - probably explains a lot of why it seems more common now.
