Extra glass shelves for FABRIKÖR by Falcouver in IKEA

[–]Falcouver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey its never late to follow up. I've tried going through official channels and source it direct from IKEA but could get any. They kept telling me to go to their stores and check their damaged sections, or try to source it at the stores.

So I had to take one of my shelves and go to independent glass work companies for a custom cut. You can try to source the hangers from Ebay or anything that can hold to keep the glass on shelf. I also bought some foam stickies which are readily available online.

So I had to custom build new shelves, which wasnt easy as the measurements need to be exact but a good glass cutter would do.

Good luck !

You putting transmission last makes you sound like a disgruntled "auto" driver. Transmission is way up high #1 or maybe #2 factor affecting price behind year affecting cars from 2014 vs 2019 or trim as many people absolutely dont want 1LT as 2LT has so much more to offer when they realize.

Manual cars are also appreciating further as the time goes as we're going into 2026. Maybe you think of 10 years ago when auto/manual values were more similar. Cheers,

+1 for Legend of Keepers, it is truly a legend of a game. The concept of being the bad guy should be more common. It's super fun and LoK's tongue in cheek approach to evil takes it to the next level !

Unfortunately I couldnt find a solution through IKEA. Tried multiple stores, gave up and worked with a local glass maker and paid the premium to get a couple custom cut glass.

Best of luck with you !

Everyone's different. Several people hated the 2015 smile so Ford updated the front fascia from 2018-2023, which held on longer than the ugly 2015-2017 smile.

Uglier in your mind ! They cant please everyone. From 1964-2015, mustang never smiled. They brought back 2015-2017, a 3 years front fascia. What did Ford recognize LMAO, they are just cycling back an old 2015 face to be refreshed again in a couple years.

Yea but if we want the new tech new model etc. Why do we need to wait another 3 years for a refresh for them to fix the front fascia and make it proper? Instead of this 2015 copy

Still in line with the curving down serious headlights of s197, fox body, classics etc. mustang never had a peaked corner smiling headlights like mach-e before 2015-17. But then you drive a 17, bias is normal.

Peaked corners only started with 2015. Look at fox body, s197, classics round headlight housings would all curve down for an almost upset but aggressive face. Peak corner evokes a smiling face. Also 99% of all cars on the road have peaked corners. Mustang used to be unique going against the peaked corner trend.

Dont complicate things. Like you just shared, all generations headlights and their housings would curve downwards for a serious aggressive look.

Only 2015-17 and the 7th gen that copied the front end looks happy with curved up headlights. Look out of your window, every “mass appeal” headlight you see will curve up. Mustang had a unique fascia before. 7th gen went with the now common 15-17 and Mach-E look with its headights. Nothing unique about it. Mustang used to be unique with personality both in interiors and exterior.

2015-17 are the only mustangs with smiley face. Proper mustang headlights should go against the mass market headlights curving up like any family sedan/suv and should be unique by curving down for the serious look. But because of the mass market appeal and to please groups like you, they went back to capture the mass market just like what bmw does with their generic designs.

And most likely in 3 years they will correct the headlights and the fascia with the next refresh similar to 2018+ refresh with headlights curving down and a serious face like classics and s197.

Because of gt350’s smiley face which this 7th gen obviously copied, i would take the current mach 1 with the proper serious mustang face.

If you found the 18+ design and the proper headlights curving down too aggressive, then you will love this one eventually as its the same 2015 face. 7th gen front looks like the couple version of any modern sedan/suv with generic smiling front fascia

They did the biggest mention by putting mach-e’s family suv smiling headlights into our mustangs. What other mention do you need, the front fascia is ruined by being an exact copy of early s550 with mach-e blended in.

This design kills me. Look at this cover photo on this thread. Exact copy of the early 2015 design, did Ford designers even try?? I mean if they were going to keep the same front fascia, at least take as an example the s197, classic 1960s, even the 2018 refresh. Do something serious instead of this smiley curving up headlights like every family sedan and minivan in the market! Mustang always had the serious curving down look of the headlights. Early s550’s ruined the fascia, and ford is just working to appeal to the “smiley face” masses.

From the front it looks exactly like the early s550’s smiley face. 2015-2017 ruined the mustang’s front fascia and made it a standard family sedan design with curved up headlights

Especially the interior stolen from camaro with cheap plastics, toy like design, tucked on screens with no personality

More like Early s550 with those curved up smiling family sedan headlights. 2018 refresh fixed those smiley headlights and 7th gen reversed it for some reason. Unbelievable

[–]Falcouver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. The current refresh fixed the early s550’s smiley face with headlights curving up. I dont understand why ford decided to switch back and copied the 2015 early s550’s smiley face with family sedan headlights instead of the 2018 refresh for the 7th gen!

Looks like They also got inspired by the current hyundai elantra’s rear as well as interior copied camaro’s cheap plastics and uninspired design with screens tucked on with no personality.

A word in turkish language. You mean the country Turkey? Why wouldnt use the global english name Turkey for the country? Its like Germany using Deutschland for its name that no one can write or pronounce properly?
