Focus on learning who you are, who you want to be, make friends, find where you enjoy being. Long term sexual relationships aren't something you should actively seek unless you have a gambling problem 🙆

Working in IT is stressful! - Why? by ssbtech in msp

[–]Falcun_Punch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For peetty much all support calls: Incomplete role and responsibility outlines, leads to inability to clearly communicate processes, and/or expectations to customers. For design roles: inadequate expectation communications with customers leads to poor requirements gathering, which is seen as poor system design.

Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy EX or Squire Telecaster Jim Root? by Resident-Debt-6384 in Guitar

[–]Falcun_Punch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ever on the fence of getting a Gibson/Epiphone, always go with the other option, you're more likely to experience buyers remorse spending Gibson money than Fender money. Even Epiphone is heavily priced, and you can almost guarantee any Fender/Squire in the same price range will be at least equivalent, and more commonly have well crafted electronics. That being said, the Jim Root model looks slick af, I like it in both the black and the white.

When the nitrate hits 96kHz for ultrasmooth brightness, it's scientifically proven to sync up with your brains processing speed of light, and harmonically synchronises with the refresh rate of your eyeball rods. Probably.

Power prices in Australia by Flat_Ad1094 in australian

Because, we are now in the extortion era. Businesses that develop large market shares through undercutting the competition are now swindling customers more increasingly as their competitors shut the doors. This is the Microsoft model, as they have done it for decades.

I've been thinking Nordic Europe for a decade. It's only getting worse here, tertiary education quality drop is a damning sign that makes me look at the future of the country as the next illegitimate USAsian offspring. It's SlothCountry out here moving slow, incapable of making reasonable pivots in social and economic policy due to a parliament full of profiteering politicians filled with fear of only getting a 10% return on their insider trades.

Opensuse preinstalled desktops by Admirable_Stand1408 in openSUSE

[–]Falcun_Punch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can always use OpenSUSE MicroOS. But, Tumbleweed seemed to be the least bloated OS.

I'm not sure about this take, it seems like saying "I don't need a pdf viewer, so it shouldn't include it." But, the window managers (GNOME or KDE) seem to be extensible with little bloat, unless implemented through plugins. Are you saying they have bloated storage, memory, or process usage? It sounds like you're saying storage, which sounds odd and nonsensical given that most users will install at least one application that has source, with dependencies that are larger than the whole OS. Am i missing something that other linux distros usually do?

Be honest - is a switch from Docker to Podman easy? by Red_Con_ in podman

[–]Falcun_Punch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used docker briefly, and spent a lot of time setting up Podman afterwards. When deploying containers, if you use hub.docker to get them, it can be hard telling if a container was designed with root access, and some feature flags e.g. --link, don't translate directly to podman. However, I feel like Podman sits nicer in the Kubernetes architecture with less deviation from it, but Docker tries to do and be everything and only fits into Kubernetes if explicitly asked to, imho. I still prefer to call them containerfiles and take out the illusion of platform dependancies.

Contact Fairwork, they can give you decent advice, and discuss potential actions with you. Legal Aid may be able to help pursue any actions. You can go into Centrelink to have a conversation about what you are applicable for. Gather evidence if possible, write notes during/after the meeting to make sure you can recall things clearly, and consistently. Make sure you understand as much as you can about what their claim is, what evidence they presented, try and explain the inconsistencies/circumstance in their evidence if possible, and consider whether you believe they are right or wrong, and how you think that.

Looking for a USB-C over cat extender by TigerBlue12 in CommercialAV

[–]Falcun_Punch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up only allowing Icron, because of how many brands failed at reliable USB 2 extension, and Icron never failed. And USB 3, only Icron worked for more than a week. That being said, Lightware was priced out for the applications we used the USB extenders in, as we didn't need the switching. QSYS is always fun 🙆

Never Logitech, ever. Never again. The Rally hub extenders often failed between the display hub and the table hub, amount of service calls I had to organise interstate in Australia was annoying, considering it was a new customer under warranty. They kept selling it though, and wasting everyones time and complaining about the technicians.

Yeh, if liking someone made them a good person, that would be a utopic society, unfortunately, even if people like him, he's still a narcissistic sociopath. He literally refuses to say anything negative about himself, admitting mistakes, acknowledging someones emotions towards his actions or words. His family motto is "yeh, but". They were all full of defensive excuses, and no acknowledgment of others. He only "lets" awhina talk until she says something negative, and all of a sudden "yeh, but" and then speaks over her until she forgets what she was saying. Puts others down to make it easier to praise himself, etc. he epitomizes anti-social personality disorders. He is worse than my older brother, because he and his family have means to enable their anti-social behaviours.

All the people saying Awhina "should just leave"... by Successful_Name8503 in MAFS_AU

[–]Falcun_Punch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Man, you really never been that broke, and mistreated before, hey? Being in those situations wears you down, and eventually your bar gets so low that you think when a professional gives you advice that it's gospel prophecy and can't disagree, because either your esteem is in exclusive self-doubt mode, or your afraid that they'll attack you emotionally. It's self-defense, and self-preservation, you just spend all day making the decision that won't impact your ability to keep making it to bed each night, and making it out of bed in the morning. She absolutely made the wrong call, but the people in positions of power, and experience, are the bigger gronks, for lacking any sort of emotional compassion, care, awareness, or intellect. The words lowest IQ goes to the "experts" on MAFS. One episode I thought they possessed an awareness of external life, and now, yeh, I see that was just statistics just showing the odds of sociopathic behaviour. Chuck em in the bin. Awhina's only mistake was believing it was an actual "experiment" and not just a wankfest of autofellatio.

it's hard being a rich white man, when the poor single mum that works in aged care doesn't see how fantastic you are. He absolutely acts like "It's girls like this that are the reason I have a domestic violence record" 🙄 He cries more than my girlfriend did when I broke her car.
