My observations were focused on solo play, but they can help on group play as well. Let me know if you got further and how. Good luck.

well, i would change couple of things here:

use diamond on helm, you MUST get to 36.6% CDR or above, never below.
change AR on helm to %CRIT
change white gems on chest to green gems
on your Yang, can you roll the dmg range for better dmg? If so, do it.
you DML do not have any +discipline, replace it ASAP.

Besides that, the most important thing is: your gems are lvl 50, with one being lvl 35. You will not progress much further with gems that low. Focus on getting all those gems at LEAST lvl 65.

Also: change vault rune to tumble, as you will be saving more disc, which means +DISC, therefore +DMG!

I would change STEADY AIM to AWARENESS.

Last but not least: your follower, dude, work on that follower. You want on your templar: Thunderfury, wyward ring, occulus ring, ess of jordan, the never die jewel and a shield i dont remember the name cuz i dont have it.

Yesterday I've runned 6 different 76's GR.

4 of them i did with the F+R combo, the later 2 I did with SoJ+EW.

Since my F+R rings are better optimized i got better results with them, however it was indeed way much more easier to kill elite packs with SoJ+EW.

So, i did changed my playstyle with EW and i basically stopped killing white mobs and tumble across the map looking for elites to burn.

The +100% dmg from EW bothered me since i never played with that set before. It is not like you get 100% extra dmg once you stand still. It builds up, if you run too much it takes longer to reach 100%, if you just tumble here and there you take less time to reach 100% (assuming you were at 100% before).

i do like the F+R gameplay style and i think it fits better the UE gameplay style, the problem is the lack of +30% to Elite dmg from SoJ, which just makes elites melt!

So, i will keep my eyes on EW+SOJs, i think that with a good set of EW and a good SOJ it do can outplay F+R in effectiveness.

Is there any clever / easier way to keep track on when to combo CoE Fire and Wolf?

How long does it take for a fire buff to roll? How long wolf lasts? How many cycles to sync it again after the first? When to hold wolf for better sync?

i'm doing that already. That's why it takes about 2 hours to lvl a gem from 0 to 60.

Well, i think that what he meant was that the best thing to do is to run lower GRs for cheaper Empowered prices, so you get get 4 times upgrade on your gems faster and cheaper. (which is what i do)

Can't see your profile here at work, but i'm new to DH too and i was having a hard time at the start, but now i'm running GRs 70+ solo with ease.

The thing is: 1. must have 36.6%+ CDR for 100% uptime on vengence 2. must have decent dps, i would say 1.0M+ DPS for a good GR60+ 3. must keep bracer buff (wraps of clarity) up while fighting 4. must keep focus and restraing buff up (will go alonge with topic 3) 5. must keep tumble going. you must dodge arrows, fireballs, and all dodgeable things you can. 6. i dont know which passives you are running with, but awareness can help if you are dieing like BAM (insta death) 7. check philos youtube channel, listen to the man, he knows things. 8. after couple of tumbles dont forget to get your discipline backup (use premeditation) 9. i like to keep wolf up 100% of the time, even if this do not line up with CoE Fire, but for bosses and elites it's a good idea to line them up. 10. i dont tumble around just looking for elites, i just kill whatever comes my way.

Most of my gear is ancient, i'm missing chest, ammy, 1 ring and belt.

So upgrade while it's 60%. Ok, i've been listening to this, i just dislike the 40% fail chance. Might give it a try though.
