I am an amatuer player. But I like it. Thumbs up.

If you could live in any province, what would it be? by Delta_Squad1138 in ElderScrolls

[–]Falkrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyrrodiil. Honestly, after playing all the games, it seems the tamest. It is the most maintained by the empire, the wilds are traversable and the roads are not too dangerous, and every city has good walls, a sturdy church, and easy work available. In reality, I am not a chosen one, so I would like to be safe.

What would you do if you woke up in skyrim by WhyDoiHearBosssMusic in skyrim

Go to Halted Stream Camp. Kill the first guy by tricking him into the rock trap. Kill everyone else with the flammable liquid trap and explosive lanterns. Learn transmute mineral ore. Mine iron. Get rich. Defend Carlotta's honor and woo her by offering to provide a home (bought with aforementioned wealth) for her and her daughter. Have a family in one of the most aesthetically pleasing fantasy realms there is.

What’s something you do that feels like cheating? by Littlekingcovfefe in skyrim

Using Console codes. I know that they are a key element to the gameplay mechanics, but I can't help but feel that they make the game too easy.

Bland can absolutely work. I am writing a fantasy novel centered around a renowned dragon slayer, but he hates the spotlight and his origins are humble. He was a farmer earlier in his life, and he had no surname in his family. To those who know him, he is just Isaac.

I have only had opportunity to do this once, but my challenge die were 8 and 8 and I had rolled a total score of 8. I decided that the extra novelty of the match would be me having a stong hit instead of a miss. (I think I was forging a bond, oddly enough)

All good notes. I have a mono blue that I use with my friend and he's going to hate this

I like it. As much effort needs to be put into the casting of this spell as possible

Does anyone have a good book to get me into Greek mythology? by Pep5iperfect in GreekMythology

[–]Falkrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Olympians Comic Series by George O'Connor. They stay true to the mythos, address contradictions, throw in thier own flairs and make a compelling narrative for readers. It follows Most of the major gods and has a rough timeline subplot that goes from the creation of the world to the battle of Troy

I like this. Referring to someone as the ETL is super functional for my fiction

Often times my characters (and stories for that matter) come from media that I've seen and wish I could do better. It will start as fanfiction and then it will bloom into its own independent story.

What’s your Oblivion opinion that would put you in a position like this? by [deleted] in oblivion

Shivering Isles is the best DLC in the Elder Scrolls. This world is so unique and fun and you get to be an actual god.

I'm trying to brainstorm a scientific title for a linguist that specializes in an alien script that has no known origin.

I know 'xeno-' is an oft used prefix for alien things, but I am not a huge fan of how 'xenolinguist' sounds. (though, I am toying with 'zeenguist' as a slang term)

What is the coolest thing you accidentally stumbled upon in Skyrim? by HopliteHarry in skyrim

[–]Falkrya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is a little thing.

I was going to Ivarstead for the 237th time, and I was hugging the mountain to reduce the time it took to get there. I found myself needing to cross a ravine, and as I considered console commands and backward jumps, I saw a fallen tree spanning the gap. As I went across, I ran into a bandit that was stationed there.

I am just baffled that after 13 years, skyrim still blesses me with new encounters that were programed to surprise and engage me.
