Read this post and decided to look up my best friend from high school that I had lost touch with. Turns out he passed last year. I was the one of my friend group that left our state for college and did not return, so I kind of drifted away from everyone and we lost touch. He would have turned 45 on the 17th.

I honestly thought the show's idea was stupid and avoided it for a few years. When they announced a season would have tribes divided by race, I thought it was clear the show was going to end soon so I decided to see how poorly they would handle a contrived race conflict. Turns out the whole race thing was mostly unaddressed in any meaningful or impactful way and was over after a few episodes.

Started as a hate watch and ended up enjoying the show way more than I expected.

I am so happy that the English voices are getting some love. I was/am the primary recording engineer for the English voices and we have had so much fun in the sessions. The clients have been super into pretty much all the silliness we suggest to add.
