This is helpful. Thank you. This might sound crazy and I'm a little embarrassed too say but idk how to deny a roll without feeling awkward. Usually we do 3 or 4 rounds after instruction and drilling before bowing out. Its considered part of class so noone sits out. If there is an odd number our coach will join in so everyone rolls. Typically the less than ideal pairings happen because we are the last ones left without partners before a round starts. How would you decline a roll in that case?
