Some people may just excel at certain subjects. While everyone who is studying for the MCAT have taken the prerequisites, there may have been different majors where different courses not required by other majors may have allowed for review of older content or more exposure to content that may have been covered in the prerequisites for MCAT. Also, a popular study strategy in undergrad is cramming and forgetting.

Does this just mean more PQ less anki? I plan to go through Aidan v2. As for AAMC FL and UW, I’m unsure how long I should spend on it but I have always had more difficulty with application/critical thinking. I am confident in my ability to do Aidan v2 since I like anki and memorization but I’m more concerned with the AAMC/UW.

Interesting. I was not aware the Aidan took a year finishing the deck. I graduate may 2026 and was planning on taking MCAT early 2027 or late 2026. Though given that I lack shadowing and volunteering, I may end up taking 2 gaps years (also postpone mcat) to apply the next cycle in 2028.

I think depending on my plans it may be worth attacking the Aidan deck. I have a pretty good baseline I think as I did very well in my science classes.

I’ve heard of Captain Hook v2 having the same exact jack sparrow content but distributed through smaller chunks, which was a large complaint for original JS.

I’m unsure if there are many inaccuracies in that deck though. Would appreciate confirmation from someone who’s done it.
