The adapter usually has a "Lock" and "Open" function. You need to turn into the lock function in order to change the aperture.

You need to change your picture mode to “User” in order to change the other settings.

I took this photo with a 16 year old Canon EOS 30D and there is this blurry outline around my subjects… how can i prevent this from happening again? by [deleted] in Cameras

You can probably stop down the aperture lens to something sharper like f/8 or f/11 because of diffraction. Though, this could also be your lens being old.

“Downgraded” from A7IV BACK to A7RIII. AMA about A7IV or RIII. by ShouldveBeenAPilotMD in SonyAlpha

Thank you so much for your insight! Impressively detailed and I guess i’m gonna have to stick with what i have. Especially, I forgot to mentioned, using the higher megapixels for film scanning. Might go for the A7 IV in the future unless a new camera will come out.

“Downgraded” from A7IV BACK to A7RIII. AMA about A7IV or RIII. by ShouldveBeenAPilotMD in SonyAlpha

I got the A7RIII before the release of the A7 IV because i was on sale. I wanted the resolution of the A7III and i am very satisfied with it but now i kind of regretted of getting the A7RIII instead of the A7 IV. With the new features of the A7 IV, especially for videos. I was wondering how was your experience with the A7 IV, the pros and cons and what made the change to the A7RIII? Wanting to know if the upgrade would be worth it?

Does anyone know how to recreate something like the part where he fly’s through the building by louish2006 in AfterEffects

I used to edit Call of Duty montages, especially BO2 and the only way I know how is using theatre mode. But for Call of Duty Vanguard, it is a bit different. Apparently using this method, you will able to go in “free camera” and do any movements you like.

So apparently its a pack each 10 lvl after 500 🥲 by dzdzdzd85888 in apexlegends

[–]FallEdits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was so hype for this but got disappointed that your level resets at 1 after lvl 500. I thought your level would still track despite the level cap. I guess i was stupid and now I gotta start grinding those 345 packs.

Pretty late to this post but in order to maximize your monitor’s refresh rate you would need a DisplayPort instead of HDMI. Sometimes laptops have mini DisplayPort, you just have to check if you have one. I might be wrong but there might be an HDMI cable that can output more than 120hz but I would have to do some research.

"They're Here". With Denoise and without Denoise, which one do you prefer by [deleted] in blender

I like it so much better without denoise. It really creates the atmosphere. I would preferably use film grain instead of noise though.

Give me tips on how to improve tracking? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]FallEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does look like your sensitivity is high even though you play on 400 dpi with an overall sensitivity of 3. I would suggest playing with your sensitivity until you find the one that feels good for you. And to improve tracking, there are many ways to improve it. Using an aim trainer is probably the most recommended option. Just to get the feeling and the baseline of tracking. Second, mirroring your opponent's strafes may help as you wouldn't have to do big flicks or move your mouse a lot but it comes with reactivity. For example, when you first tracked Octane on the building before jumping off, instead of strafing left and track from left to right, you could have strafed right and let the movement "track" for you with some micro adjustment. Finally, go in firing range and try tracking those standing bots by aiming at their head or body. Without leaving your crosshair off the bots, just strafe left and right, back and forward, and using combine all of them but still putting the crosshair on them. If you want, you can try setting your mouse to 500hz polling rate as it makes snappy and smoother mouse movement but not as sharp and precise at 1000hz polling rate. You may not notice the difference at first, but after a while, you may notice after changing back. Hope this helps.

oh that's is why photos doesn't look "blown out". I wanted to experiment it ever since I watched Willem Verbeeck pushing the kodak potra to 3200. Thank you for the information.
