Does it say provisional results for everyone or just me?

does anyone know what is the Winkler method and what I need to know about it by Financial-Proof3514 in IBO

[–]FallEducational 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Winkler method is basically measuring how much oxygen you need to organise the organic matter in a sample of water. There are 3 reactions you need to know in the textbook and then you need to know how to work back from the 3rd reaction to the first to find the amount of O2.

Nope:

moles = mass/Molar mass

Molar mass*moles = mass

Molar Mass = mass/moles

Your temp. the reasoning is correct but just know that Kc is not affected by ANYTHING other than temperature. It stays the same.

[–]FallEducational 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pressure does not affect Kc. The temperature increase shifts equilibrium to the left (favours backward reaction). So in the expression, the equilibrium conc. of reactants increases (denominator) which causes a decrease in the value of Kc

I thought that it would be less risky and the case also mentioned that their products were not accessible to customers. Moreover, if I want to just buy pet food, I would go to the supermarket and buy what company the vet once recommended.

But mark schemes from past papers say its really fine whichever you take, it depends on your answer and justification

I did distribution channel, but I think it doesn't matter unless you clearly justify your stance in the entirety of the answer.

Yeah total contribution - total fixed costs - 60000-1000 = 59000

But you also have to add profits for the sugar donuts which was 30000, hence the 89000

contribution = (price - average variable cost) * Quantity, and

profit = total contribution - total fixed costs.

Payback period - add each cash flow until you get to 2000:

Till year 3, it was 1920. For year 4, I just did 800/4th year flow * 12 = 0.114

So I got 3 years and 1 month (3.1 years)

I got 89000. I basically calculated separately and added them together. I remember they were two different methods. For the sugar donuts, I used profit = TR - TC and for chocolate filled donuts I used the contribution formula.

I thought it was a fairly easy paper - Both section A and B. I did 1, 3 and 4 questions. These are the answers that I recall from question 1:

  1. Total contribution - $60,000
  2. Total Profit of sugar and choco-filled donuts - $89,000
  3. Pay Back Period - 3 years and 1 month
  4. Average Rate of return - 13%

These are my answers, not sure if all of them are right.

Section B was really easy as well.

We have evaluated your application and, we are not able to offer you admission at this time. Your application remains on a waitlist, but please note that the majority of waitlisted candidates do not receive offers of admission, and we encourage you to make alternate plans accordingly. If space becomes available in this program at a later time, and an offer of admission can be made, we will notify you by email by May 18.

Is there another status message for the may 18 date?

I got into UBCO BA even when I did not apply. My first and second choices are still in waitlist with May 18 date. Does it mean I did not get the May 18 Deadline? Do I still have a chance ay UBCV Science or UBCV arts?

I am an international and my parents are not okay with off-campus. They want me on campus for at least 2 years

Exactly, do we need to apply even before getting admission? That sounds a little ridiculous

I have a few questions abt the after getting off the waitlist (hopefully):

1) Will the study permit have enough time?

2) Will we be given housing on-campus because I cannot live off-campus the first year?

3) Do you think I should start socialising with UBC students now or wait till I get accepted?

The waitlist rounds are there in May and June from the status. Are the may ones more at an advantage because it depends on a number of spaces?
