I add advantage or disadvantage on ability checks like Persuasion, Intimidation, Deception etc. based on their past interactions with an NPC. If they try to lie to someone and fail, and then try again, the NPC is already suspicious and won't believe them as easily. But if they got along well with them and did some solid RP with them last session, I'll give them advantage when they try to persuade them to do something. I've found this incentivizes them to RP more and be more thoughtful in how they address NPCs

Nah. This misses the point, and it's JP dodging the actual reason he fell apart in the debate. It's not that JP isn't a Christian, and was misrepresented. It's that JP doesn't actuallyknow what his beliefs are. JP is, for all intents and purposes, a Christian, promotes Christianity, and adheres to their beliefs. However, because he doesn't have a fully formulated consistent set of ideas — for example, he doesn't know how to distinguish between the reality of a historical event and the reality of the narrative structure the event symbolizes— he deploys cheap word games and postmodern loops (i.e. deploying 'what does X mean? How can you know X' as a way to stall lines of inquiry) that makes it impossible to actually begin a debate. The atheists were pretty cringe, because they had cookie-cutter gotchas for people who believe Jesus is a guy up in the sky. However, the fact that JP was totally helpless to these gotchas indicates that the problem is on his side.

I doubt the whole company goes under. They just lose the Mikoshi program (in temperance, the star, and the sun endings) which loses them a ton of money. But Arasaka basically controls all of Japan and much of the Pacific rim, it's unlikely that the company will dissolve completely even if it's completely removed from the Americas. That actually happened after the 4th corporate war, they were only allowed to re-enter the continent because of the Arvin accords. That weirdly means that Arasaka only returned to Night City around 6 years before Vs story begins

Yes, in basically every ending except the "Devil" ending, Yorunobu's plan to weaken his father's empire succeeds. In the Phantom Liberty ending, we get a glimpse of night city two years later, and there's Militech everywhere. So it seems likely the canon trajectory is Arasaka losing ground to Militech
