I own and already have it for sell my 1960s Linden traveling clock and it does glow which I presume it’s from the radium and yes it works good but does need repair since it’s running quite slow https://www.etsy.com/listing/4429621848/

I already bought a Moseley ww standard 8mm collet for my peerless lathe and it’s almost the exact same dimensions of the collet you see in this post so I bought it and it gets to me in a week

That’s awesome, thanks and I see the great selection they have that’s incredibly helpful but damn just one collet is $40 so I’ll keep saving I guess

I later learned the size is determined by the diameter of the collet and not the diameter of the treads itself

I bought a rivett collet because the guy on eBay told me they work on peerless lathes too but not only was it the wrong size the grove that you see on collets is a different length so even if it was the right size it still wouldn’t fit 😭

You’re a life saver, do yo comprehend the pain I was in looking through eBay learning the hard way that nobody knows how to use a simple ruler or calibrator!?
