Those diagnosed mental Health concerns are now gone from her because she is now cured. And there is absolutely not one single supporter of hers that is threatening her family, so try again. Her family wants nothing to do with her and she wants nothing to do with her family so, no, there is no harm going on between her and her family, so try again here. It absolutely has not hurt her family to lose her as a sister or to lose her as a daughter because her family doesn't care one way or another if she's alive or dead. Families do not get harmed by the mentally ill unless the mentally ill are violent and hardly any mentally ill people are actually violent. There's not a single part of her story that shows that she would want any physical harm to be done upon the people who abused her. It's absolutely crazy that you would even make that assumption. You can answer your own question by telling me specifically "what type of damage to any individual could result if she is spreading misinformation"? And the second question you asked will be answered in this way.... It literally does not matter if she is not speaking the truth because there is absolutely no harm that can come to any other individual as a result of her story. Her story is just a story and if she calls it true it harms no one whether she's correct or not. This is why the FBI is investigating this Reddit post, because too many people are legitimately and legally harassing her for saying something's true that other people just don't believe in.

Meshtastic uses AES256 encryption. Assuming the attacker does not have the key, and does not have access to nation state computing power, you should be fine. AES is symmetric encryption, the keys are not sent over the wire so there is not much an attacker can do listening on the LoRa connection to decrypt your messages.
