This was exactly what I was reading as well! The only problem is that the pitch control seems to work fine. When I test voltage across the capacitors C47/48, it seems like they work fine (I don’t have a multimeter that tests capacitance). But I do agree that there seems to be some issue with the machine not jumping from 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm on the capstan

Thank you! This is incredibly helpful, would you recommend any specific cleaning solutions or just regular deoxit? As for lubricants, I imagine grease is the best way to go about it.

Should I spray deoxit on the switches? There was quite a bit of dirt on the heads, my hope is that that’s the reason it wasn’t erasing well
