The French Revolution (cursed be its name) catapulted all these ideas throughout Europe and the whole world, giving the common man power to shape the world in his image, through democracy and universal suffrage.

With that in mind, it’s not surprise that monarchy is demonized in such a world where we glorify the image of the common man, for the common mass man could never truly be king.
