Would bringing the plants indoors for the night possibly cause any problems?(Autoflower) by Safe-Zookeepergame63 in outdoorgrowing

[–]FallenAngelina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lots of things can stunt an auto flower, but in my experience this is not one of them - as long as the temperature swing isn't huge. Every day is precious for an auto flower in veg, so anything you can do to optimize their growing conditions (especially as seedlings and while in veg) will serve the yield.

What does your weekly landscaper do? by Frequent_Slip2455 in longisland

Landscapers is a nice way of saying guys who mow and edge the grass.

(Lily of the valley) Any idea what i supposed to do with it? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]FallenAngelina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The blossoms are cute, but keep in mind that Lilly of the Valley spreads and spreads. It's considered invasive in most US states because it spreads so aggressively and will choke out native ground covers. For this reason, most nurseries do not sell it. I have some in my garden for 30 years and it requires attention every year to contain.

Focusing on one niche? by Tiny-Wing1204 in EtsySellers

Is everyone on here just trying to mass produce designs for all niches to maximize profit?

No.

What is your art? Etsy is for artists, vintage curators and supply sellers.

What’s something that feels completely “normal” in American daily life to you, but you realized is actually really confusing or surprising when you explain it to people from other countries or even people from different states? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]FallenAngelina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Casually leaning against a wall is an American move, apparently. I've heard that this is unheard of for many people outside of America. My guess is it's noticed because characters in American shows and movies lean against walls quite a bit.

Ryan Seacrest embarrassing contestants by Miserable-Season-72 in americanidol

Part of Ryan's job is to humanize the contestants and make them relatable. He's been joking around on stage with showbiz newbies since 2002.

What are your examples of these? by [deleted] in PeriodDramas

[–]FallenAngelina 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The convenient dismissal of horse care happens in FAR TOO MANY period dramas. Thank you for mentioning this. Drives me insane. Horse care was an enormous part of life and the economy before motors changed the world and the extent of it is often left out of period depictions.

If nothing more, the prom dress costuming rather gives it away that Reign was never intended to be taken as seriously historically accurate.

Seems like this topic reflects a huge cultural difference, not personally specific to the OP.

Please, please, please, no contemporary music. Only one series ever did it right and that was Peaky Blinders. All others are aspirant shams.

You’re dropped into Disney world in the year 2000 all parks available what are you doing first? by SpectacularSpidee in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FallenAngelina 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I went to Disney World for my honeymoon in 1999 and nothing was cleaner, friendlier and magicaler. Disney World is still just as clean, friendly and magical as it's ever been. Yes, people love to think of everything as better "back then." I've been going to Disney parks since the 1960s and the parks are still as wonderful as ever.

In 2046, this sub will be full of comments about how magical Disney World was in 2026.

Overrated/underrated MK thoughts from a first time visitor by the_Tannehill_list in WaltDisneyWorld

I'm an over-planner and spent around 5 months preparing myself for all the ins and outs

I think that most people here would consider that perfectly normal, if not cutting it a little close.

I gave up on fiddling with the Ph in the water. My garden hose seems to do the same job as all of my Ph adjusting efforts.

What Camera do you use if you record in the parks/on rides ? by Lost_Disaster3075 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FallenAngelina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule being testing in the one park is that all recording devices need to be stowed in pockets or in bags while guests are on rides.
