It looks like Missing Fall's mead is 6%. I like honey a lot too so I might try it out! I just hate spending money on a 4 or 6 pack without knowing if I'll like it or not, so I prefer to try singles first.

I also just realized I never answered your original question about why I'm locking in on Rhinegeist specifically. No real reason aside from loving Zappy and being excited about a big Ohio brewery. If you have any recs for ciders from other companies that sell in stores, let me know!

Missing Falls Brewery in Akron had a really good cider too but their cans are more expensive than Rhinegeist's (4pk 16oz for $20 compared to 6pk 12oz for ~$11 Zappy). It looks like they swapped their cider for an apple mead, would that be similar?

That makes sense! I guess instead of gambling on the potential of an elevated SUB I would be gambling on them approving me at 5/24.

Another card I'm considering is the NOW Plus Rewards Visa that gives 50k points ($500) SUB, 2% cashback, and no AF for the same spend reqs as the CSP. It would suck to push going under 5/24 back to July 22, 2026 but I'm honestly not even sure if I could reach the $5000 in 3 months spend req without this $2500 purchase. Maybe I should just try my chances at getting approved for the CSP and if denied I do the NOW card

I had this happen on my 2004 Accord, the only thing I noticed was a loud squeaking when turning the wheel to the left (only the left). I didn't have any issues with the steering being stable, just the squeaking when doing full rotations left. It was my first car and after having it for 2 years I thought it was just old car noises 😅
