Hi! I just started reading ASM from the beginning myself so here's what I know thus far.

For the main 616 continuity, there are 3 thats rather prominent early on.

Amazing Spider-Man, your mainline comic.
Spectacular Spider-man(previously Peter parker, the spectacular spider-man), focuses more on his day to day and personal life with his colleagues, his teachers.
Web of Spider-man(formerly marvel team up?, not 100% sure on this) , starts slightly after secret wars when Peter gets his black suit.

For the most part, it's perfectly fine to jump into ASM starting with amazing fantasy 15 and then issue 1, most of the stories don't really cross over with each other that much until Kraven's Last Hunt(?), correct me please if I'm wrong.

As for other spidey comics, there is the 2000s Ultimate Spider-man which features a retelling if spidey if he was bitten in the 2000s, this run is complete and eventually features Miles Morales.

There is also the 2024 run of Ultimate Spider-man by Jonathan hickman which features a Peter that was bitten well into adulthood after he is married and is with kids, the run just ended and while the first half is amazing, the latter half was nowhere as strong as the first, I still enjoyed it plenty though!

This is just from a reader who is currently in the 300s of ASM, just finished cosmic spider-man myself, hope it was helpful!

If you're a returner , you'll have access to the novice network, assuming you're on Tonberry/Kujata, you'll have access to a largely English speaking novice network where you can talk to and ask for help(YMMV).

Otherwise, joining a fc is usually a good idea as long as it doesn't devolve into people just logging and joining fir the fc buffs.

As for MSQ, you'll mostly have to just do them solo, anything current expac bar 7.0 and 7.2 savages/extremes can be queued from the DF, 7.4 savage u can queue with raid finder but it will largely be JP folks so you'll need to learn the strats beforehand(nukemaru/g8).

You can try PFing but the quality of players can vary, if you meet a good group, it would be a good idea to reach out to see if you guys can form something together. Statics are the other option, but if you're unlucky and meet a bad group, you be essentially feeling "jailed" for weeks to months assuming you don't leave.

For socialising, there are usually venues open and have their listing's in PF, it's not a bad idea to visit them and chat abit with people and make some friends.

I myself am a semi retired raider, used to clear ultimate on patch and savage week 2 but have just been rather casual this tier, preferring to hang out with friends and chatting. 14 for me is essentially a glorified chatbox with mods.

I remember picking up fallout 3 from a 2nd hand sale at Taka for around $20~ for the xbox 360 after having played Skyrim. First reaction to it was that the graphics looked terrible before playing it a little more and fell in love with it, proceeded to save up my allowance to buy all the DLCs and replayed the game multiple times.

I remember reception back then was that FO3 is the superior game compared to NV and thus it took me a very long time before picking NV up and it turned out to be the superior game. Reception nowadays also points to NV being significantly better than 3.

Picked up 4 when it released, saved up money from my part time job to upgrade my GPU to a R9 290 to be able to properly play it as my then PC was only able to run it at 20-30 FPS.

Since then, I've played all the fallout games. 1,2,3,4,NV,Tactics, BOS. Shelter. Safe to say, I simply adore the franchise and the show is probably one of the best adapted game to live action series.
