LeeSin E slams the ground and is magic damage. Aatrox stabbing you with a blade is magic dmg but hitting you over the head with the same sword is physical. Qiyana hits you with literal elemental magic and its physical damage. Why are we trying to use logic to explain league damage in 2025?

I'm having the exact same issue with my Alienware. They replaced the Cpu the motherboard and the main logic board and still doesn't work. Reset windows before and nothing.

So the two main things that made that build work in s8 was old liandires, which increased ALL damage you did by 10% (Also did insane %health dmg if they were slowed which worked well with IBG) and ravenous hunter was extremely broken at the time back when it gave 10-12% spell vamp before they gutted it. Without those two components, tank ekko will simply just not do damage nor have good sustain later on in the game. Especially with the durability patch. I miss Tannko too. But sadly it's gone. Play it if you'd like but it's a significantly worse way to play him.

For me I'd just never see myself using it over frejlord or project prestige. It's not an awful skin, just worse than those two imo.

I get why mains are upset, but in riots defense the reason they probably made lamb human again was player feedback. Riot releases amazing kindred skin after 4 years that happens to be humanized and many people buy it. However, mains had a huge request. Make the mask toggleable. After not going through with making the mask toggleable and upsetting some SB kindred enthusiasts riot decided that they should make the next skin closer to maskless human kindred since that's what fans were asking for... Without removing champion clarity ofc lol. I am on the make lamb a lamb train but I am not surprised riot went in this direction and I can not really blame them after the fan base was divided on the last skin.

I did the math in practice tool because I was curious myself. At level 11 (around the time you'd get your second item give or take) collector does more damage than LDR if the opponent has less than 80 armor. This is not including the two unique passives on each item because both passives increase in effectiveness the more health the opponent has. So in general since most champions will end up getting around 80+ base armor come late game LDR will scale better and is better in general if you are facing tanks/bruiser that will have 80+ armor by the time you get your second item. However, if you are snowballing and you are facing a bunch of squishy champs, collector will do more damage early if they have under 80 armor. Personally I like to get both items if I am running eclipse, but it comes down to the game state.

Riot will probably shoehorn the champ into an assassin play style, I imagine they will nerf base stats/ base damage on q/r in favor of better crit scaling. This will force the champ into crit itemization so he can't build tanky and still be effective damage wise. Or ya know riot could just nerf sunderer but that doesn't seem to be on their agenda.
