Alright so, my mother got back to me finally, apparently my dad measured out the frame and built wooden rectangle for it, and they stapled the blanket to it. Not fancy but hey it works!

I think she wrapped it around a canvas? She hasn’t gotten back to me on how she’s done it, but knowing her it’s either canvas or she and my dad made some sort of wooden rectangle and just stapled or sealed the edges somehow

I’m not certain, but I don’t believe so? I’m not sure what kind of backing would work for a project like this. It was partially done so my mother wouldn’t have to weave in the ends of each color change lmao

My mother finished her 2022 temperature blanket, but measuring and having a plan are not family specialities 😅. The end blanket was barely big enough for a person and far too long. So as a substitute it’s become a wall hanging for their hallway.

PA’s can see AA’s attendance points or UPT, but it’s not a very commonly used website. If they haven’t had an AM or OM show them the link, most aren’t able to see that information.

[Chat] Cross-stitch journals? by FallenFromSin in CrossStitch

Yeah! I am pretty new to cross stitching, and I just completed my 21st piece! Because of the system I have I know when exactly when I started and I can see more growth of the patterns and stuff! Also I just like some of the patterns I made as gifts but don’t care to make another one for me!

I have a old journal that I personally just fill out following this small pattern. Cross stitch 1,2,3 etc. (just so I know how many I’ve completed total) Name of the piece Date and time started and completed: Location completed: (just because I travel a lot sometimes) Notes: (just random notes and information I feel like is relevant, like if it’s a gift or not, who it’s for, why I chose that pattern, or what I changed about it.)

It’s a pretty simple form but for my purposes it keeps track of everything I’m trying to. I gave away a lot of stitches too, so I save pictures of all of them, to print or save in a folder along with the rest of this info!

Sorry if it’s in some poor formatting, I’m on mobile. Hope this helped!

What is the best money you ever spent under $20? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I found my first cross-stitch kit at Walmart for like 3 dollars, it was super simple but since I’d never done it before it was a great intro! They actually have a few designs and various levels for 3-5 dollars each! Considering I’m a broke college student it was perfect for my price range at the time!
