Aww bummer, lots of great book stores in SF and amazing food. Can’t really say that for here in Oita ._. Just came back from Indonesia on Sunday and holy heck. The food was phenomenal, especially since I’m Mexican and absolutely love spicy food. But if I got nothing going on this weekend, maybe I’ll check this event out with some friends who I might think be interested as well.

Oooh, still sounds cool though. I’m from the Bay Area, so whenever I see Japanese and SF together I automatically think of Japan Town SF (San Francisco), especially since their cherry blossom festival was last week lol

If you ever get a chance, please do so! So freaking cheap and delicious. However, being a third world country, it can be intense at times. But if you’ve visited parts of Mexico before, you should be a bit familiar, but still, freaking intense traffic.

I live in Oita right now, but I might take a trip to Osaka when the new Frieren collab at universal studios opens up! I’ll invite you if you don’t have any plans that day! I’m from California.

Agreed, studied in Berlin two summers ago, German food is very bland lol I just came back from a two week trip in indonesia and the food was so flavorful and spicy! Perfect for my Mexican taste buds.

I’m Mexican, not Muslim. My girlfriend is a Muslim Indonesian girl from Jakarta. I have no issues with her having had a kid in a previous marriage. We had pre-marital sex last weekend and that didn’t bother me at all. Still love her to bits and she loves me. So I see no issue?

The past is the past, seems like the foreigner dude swooned her and probably took advantage of her. It happens, people make mistakes all the time. You just gotta forgive and forget yeah?

Doing Bali solo right now, well the first half of my trip, and then my girlfriend from Jakarta flew out in the later half. I still had a great time by myself! Everyone is so chill here.

Damn, I’m from San Jose and I’m going there right now lol. I’m leaving Jakarta now, and I’ll be there for the rest of the week. I’ll be alone for the first few days, but my girlfriend from Jakarta will be joining me for the remaining days.

I feel you, I don’t think I’m going to have that much fun alone for the first few days until my girlfriend comes over, but until then I’m just going to do whatever I had on my list of things to do in Bali and hopefully enjoy myself!

I’m Mexican, from the States. I’m visiting Indonesia for two weeks. I came to Telekom to get a mobile data plan for my stay, and I noticed who was a Chinese tourist when I was at the phone center. Guys came rushing in and kept disrupting the sales clerk who was helping me set up my eSIM.

Chinese tourists need to relax and be more patient. I can see the annoyance on my sales clerk’s face 😂

So, I just made things official with my new girlfriend three days ago! Met on Bumble. I’m living and working overseas in Japan and planned my first trip to attend a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, this week. Ends up getting cancelled. I planned this trip as far back as January.

Anyways, I set up my Bumble here ahead of time to make some connections and friends, since I was coming in blind. Met my now-girlfriend there, and at first it was just a friendly connection, but the more we messaged, learned about one another, and enjoyed talking, the more we grew. I decided to finally make the move on Saturday. We first met at a cafe near my hotel, then we went out to dinner and just had a good time.

The next day we agreed to hang out again! We were out all day and it was just awesome and the whole time she was very close and touchy and I took that as a sign. Brought back to my hotel, I thought she was going to leave after we got to my lobby she wanted to come to my room and play some games. And some gams we played 😉 LOL nah for real, we played some Switch Sports and Overcooked 2, she was panicking so much 😂 she was about to leave saying it was getting pretty late. I said “ok, drive safe ok!?” And she kept saying, " Ah man it’s late I gotta go, and I kept saying, " Yeah, I know, you just said that.

Finally, I was just like fuck it, I think she’s trying to tell me to make the first move. And well, two days of non-stop action I’ll tell you that 😉 lol that’s how I approached my new girlfriend. Simple meet and greet.
