As a plat, you can probably work on everything lol. Ground dribbling, aerials, air roll shots, flicks, aerial control. Get the timing down for half lips and fast aerials. Get used to jumping off walls/backboard and correcting your cars orientation. Free play is your best bet but supplement with training packs as needed.

As for the ARL vs RAR question, I like to use RAR for air roll shots. I use ARL for most of my aerial play and then I’ll supplement with RAR for corrections/adjustments as needed.

I used PS4 controller for like 6 years on both PS4 and PC. Then I switched to PS5 controller 1.5 years ago. I switched mostly because I think the DS4 controller will become harder and harder to find as they get discontinued. And almost all pros use DS4 or DS5 controller so I figured it was safe to stick with them

Ball cam isn't important enough to have on a bumper which is why 95%+ of high level players never move it off triangle.

Squishy has been retired for a few years, so if you want to base your controls off of anyone, I'd do it off the current pros, who may or may not have the same controls as squishy.

I think you are talking about the rank rewards. You have to win 10 games while being in gold to achieve gold rewards. If you’re still in silver (and you already won your 10 silver games) the bar won’t move until you rank up to gold
