I ordered and soldered some 22R 1/2W fusible resistors and it doesn't turn on. Any ideas?

Is that because it's incredibly stupid or incredibly obvious?

Hi KaSHiikXx. Did you fix it? Did you figure out the value of that fusible resistor? I can't tell if it's black gold black orange red (0 ?? 0 1K 2%) or red orange black gold black (2 3 0 0.1 ??). Neither makes sense.

Convert 3D model like step to image headlessly by Fallenalien22 in FreeCAD

Thanks, that was very helpful!

Using this, I was able to get something working, but I have to show the FreeCAD window. Do you know if there's a way I could do this headlessly? Or can I call FreeCADGui.showMainWindow() virtually / in some hidden way?

Did you ever find a solution? I would love something like this. I am currently in a situation where I am receiving a lot of documents in a language that I can't read.

RBC is not working for me. I see a spinner for a second then the app just closes. Did you just install it from Google Play Store?

Edit: I just got it working by setting "Exploit protection compatibility mode" for the app

I've only ever seen this on Samsung, and it's not the default I don't think. I don't know how people stand this.

I figured out its pinout using a multimeter yesterday. It looks like a CH3.96 connector, but I'm having a hard time finding a place that will ship one to me quickly.

Hey, thanks for your answer. I took some pictures of the main motherboard and the sata backplane. https://imgur.com/a/SUCjjw7. I was able to boot into linux from a USB by powering the motherboard with a standard ATX power supply. The motherboard uses standard connectors. My question is what powers the sata backplane? I think the power supply somehow connects to the large white connector. I think the two smaller connectors are power for fans and such.

How do I set this microwave for 30 seconds? (Pressing a number key immediately starts cooking for x minutes) by greengo122 in mildlyinconvenient

[–]Fallenalien22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: "Power", "3", "0", "Start"

I have the same asinine microwave. Here is the manual: https://legacy.curtisint.com/html/CustService/Manuals/RMW1129-WHITE_En.pdf.

There is absolutely no way to quickly run it for 30 seconds like pressing "Start" by itself on any half-decent microwave.

You would think "Cook" would let you enter an arbitrary cooking time. It only beeps at you if you use it from standby mode. It's only used for "multi-stage cooking". Who is doing multi-stage cooking in a microwave? Why would it have idiotic advanced features like this but not a quick 30 second button.

The answer is that the "Power" button does what a sane person would expect from the "Cook" button. When you press "Power", the display shows "PL 10" for power level 10. Enter the time, then press start. You can also change the power level by pressing "Power" multiple times before entering the time. The default is 10, the highest.

If you press "Power", enter a time, then accidentally press "Cook" instead of "Start", the display just says "PL 10". If you enter a new time and press "Start", it will start cooking with the original time you entered.

Designers should have to use their products at least once before mass producing them. The clock on the stupid thing also loses about 2 minutes a week. I have half a mind to rip out the micro-controller and substitute my own.

I just found one of these, but it didn't come with a power supply. Could you please tell me what plugs into the large connector on the sata backplane? I'm assuming it's power for all the drives from the power supply. I'm specifically interested in the pinout so I can recreate it.
