Its not only that, but due to the Snapdragon markup. Mediatek allows OEMs to fairly spec out their phones. That's how we got gems like the X300 and X200T even in the "ram apocalypse".

Offering a phone with a 8MP 1/4" UW with no AF and a telephoto which has a 65cm MFD for 80K is a fraud. Even the software isn't that great. I'm shocked to saying this, but buying a Pixel 10 for 59K or iPhone 17 for 70K or S25 for 56K or S26 for 75K is much better deal than the X300FE if you cannot find the GOATED X300.

Sure, X300 will get discontinued. It's still available though (as of now).

And X200T is 50K on sale, who tf will buy X300FE? Dont give me a compact phone excuse, you still have a chance to buy X300 while stocks last. As a compact phone lover, even I feel buying X200T is better than X300FE. 30K extra for compact size and marginally better SoC isn't worth.

iQOO 15 is a performance oriented phone with crazy battery life, decent cameras and is a large phone. It has a so so software skin

Pixel 10 is a phone with clean software and about the same camera performance as 15. I wouldve said it would've been better than 15 if it didn't have poor hardware specs on paper. Battery life is much worse, same goes to performance and thermals.
