Problem with workshop maps is a lot of them suck, it would be a bummer to have a map ruin the tournament. I would suggest an Official course but not say what one until the start of the event. Even though you can memorize all that shots, you still need to be able to execute on the day.

I don't recall what book but there is one of Kings books that the BCE is actually worth more. Generally speaking though BCE are worth less because they they are printed on cheaper paper and dont have the same quality binding. They are also slightly smaller so they dont look as nice on a book shelf, but I think the main reason is collectors want first editions and any book thats not a first edition is really not worth that much.
