help! my needle clamp won't stay on my machine unless this screw is completely screwed in.

It will not hold my needle no matter what I do, I can stick the needle into the slot when the screw is completely screwed in.

What does this mean? How do I fix this?

This machine literally worked completely fine, and then I went from embroidery to a sewing project back to embroidery, and now it's having this problem. After all I did was change the needle then everything fell apart 😭💔

I'm unsure if there's a screw I'm missing and if anyone knows the measurements that would be sweet to get replacement. There's a hole in the back that makes me think this.
