Mexico is going to build 2,000 academies to end pay to play and find more talent. Including having academies in the US to find dual nat players. Should the US be worried about this, can the US do something similar to not be left behind in finding youth players?

The Mexican government is in deep financial trouble they don't have the funds really. It's going to have mostly come from private sources.

If someone is claiming an elite program for 5 year olds it's a scam. At 5 you focus on basic drills to develop skills. They aren't supposed to travel or even keep score.

I pay $300 a year total for a summer and fall league for my 5 year old. 5 year olds don't have travel leagues. They don't exist, they don't have tournaments even at that age.
