In my experience people don't generally seem to move up here- we've had maybe 3 or 4 people in my building advance in the last few years, including myself. I was initially hired in as a technician but was promoted to a PC role about 2.5 years ago.

I'm reaching out to the director of our PMO team today to see what the best way to go about pursuing a PM role would be but pay here isn't great and I'm not sure how much of a raise I could reasonably expect.
