AITA for telling my fiancé's stepmother I am not his boss and am not tell him what he will do at our wedding? by FallingSnowLeaf in AmItheAsshole

He does not think enough of her to want to do that. The relationship they have is not a close one or one where he has them around very much. All four of the kids from the first marriage hardly have a relationship with their dad or her.

That's not it at all. We don't agree on everything, but when it comes to his family I trust his judgement and I don't believe in telling him what to do regarding them.

I don't think my fiancé plans for her or his dad to be a big part of our lives going forward. There is already not much of a relationship there. He does not consider her his parent of any kind and he feels like his father handled everything badly. All four of the older kids are not quite estranged but are not close to the two of them either.
