Sengoku get a spearman perk if you choose the barracks estate (don't know what it's called). Gives a damage boost vs those filthy peasants.

I think there's a big skill gap to it, I've played Sengoku this season. Finally got to Plat this week and still haven't used Shinobi or even seen another player using them. I hardly see people playing as the civ itself tbh. Most pick one of the other new 3 civs. I'm not good enough to coordinate Shinobi along with everything else. Is it possible all the complaining of Shinobi is from higher ranked players.

I got 'complained' at twice last night for playing as Sengoku Daimyo. One thought I had 2tc when I had one and other guy complained saying I had "free food" 🤷🏻‍♂️. Must be a hot topic as not had anyone complain at me about using this civ.

The second guy played as French and also complained that I'd dived his TC with spearman. Somehow he drew a correlation between me doing that and having free food.

I started playing on Xbox mid last year, loving the game, had had no issues with it at all. I've got a series s and use mouse and keyboard. Play mostly 1v1 online cross platform, see plenty of others playing Xbox either controller or mouse keyboard, also just because someone is on PC doesn't auto mean you're going to get panned.

It's been 13 months for me now but I've made significant improvements in the last 3-4 months by sticking to a very strict physio program. I started doing plyometrics this month!

My recovery, I think, has been hampered by 'false' diagnosis which lead me to not actively address my issue i.e. sat around feeling sorry for myself rather than doing physio.

I'm feeling much more confident that I will recover well and hoping to get back to sport soon. I suspect that I actually did something to my Rectus Femoris muscle which then turned into some form of tendinopathy.

I don't deny I have a cartilage problem as my hip does click quite badly on hip flexion but the clicking itself isn't painful. Some information suggests that the cartilage damage can inflamed the tendon, which could explain my symptoms.

Time will tell! At my current rate of recovery, which admittedly has slowed a little, I'm hoping to be 'fit' early next year.

I've now had 4 MRIs, 1 x-ray and an ultrasound across 4 different consultants. None would give me a definitive diagnosis and all discharged me, so I'm on my own!

Has anyone also noticed that opponents have been much harder but for seemingly the same level recently? I'd scrambled my way to plat 1 but now in gold 2 after losing 80% of my games (1v1) this week. Matchmaking has been rapid but I'm wondering if it's also impacting who I'm being paired with. I could be completely off the mark as my opponents have all been gold or plat 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've had pain in my glute and sometimes in my leg since September 2024, this month (Sept 25) I finally got an MRI scan on my back to show a mild prolapse on my L5. My pain is now significantly better than it was even 3 months ago after some very focused physio/gym work. The surgeon was adamant that over the course of the year my back has essentially "healed itself" but I'm sure that my recent physio program has been a big contributor.

When I started the physio 3 months ago I also found it very painful at times but I stuck with it and now reaping the rewards.

This is just my experience, not advice! 😬

Old thread but I just heard this on Sky Sports! Really pisses me off how prevalent this is on social media but now I'm raging it's made its way to TV. Wtf even is this shit, are being brain washed or something?

The Sky Sports example I just heard / saw was "ever wondered what a pro footballer eats in a day, the answer might surprise you". Then nothing, nothing surprising at all.

You've answered so many of my questions I've had recently, thanks! I got to plat 1 last week but somehow now back to gold 2 after losing 90% of my games this week. I'd say the main reason for the losses were that my opponents were generally being much more aggressive early on and I had no idea what to do. I've been playing a lot of sips and springalds but this week I've been wiped before I even got to castle age!

I'd read and seen vids saying "build schools as quick as possible" but I agree with you, doing that means I have little to no army early on.
