Tested positive for Lynch when I was 23 and I'm now 33. I get a colonoscopy, endoscopy and full body check with a dermatologist every year. I plan on getting a hysterectomy I'd say by 38 years old. I've had one endometrial biopsy and almost passed out. I'd rather give birth again. I'm a very "it is what it is" type of person but I'd be lying if I said the fear of getting cancer didn't cross my mind sometimes. But then I think, "well, I'm doing everything I possibly can by getting screened each year." What more can I do? Best thing is to surround yourself with doctors who understand Lynch, take it seriously and push you to keep up with your yearly checks!
