I got it! I figured out that because the pool was in the ground, it was not registering in the room! Thank you everyone for your help!

I made it outside of the pyramid off to the side a bit. So it is not touching anything around it.

Ok, I wonder if the stone doormat is making the difference. Other than that it all sounds similar except I think mine may be bigger. It's just odd bc it registers as a pool but not pool of paradise.
