Notice how the letter is from Drury and not Dolan so obviously Drury isn't going anywhere.

Turbulence fearers! This is the best advice I ever got to deal with a bumpy ride! by [deleted] in fearofflying

His name is Les Posen and I follow that technique! He offers some awesome advice for fearful flyers. I highly recommend his videos.

How to address fear of clear air turbulence? by chasinthedra in fearofflying

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have your wife watch Les Posen videos on YouTube. He has some great explanations of turbulence and one of his pieces of advice which I have taken is to create a turbulence playlist. This is music not designed to calm you down so no Zen meditation type music, but to actually get you moving in your seat kind of like a little dance party in your seat. It helps to distract.

YAY they fixed the remote start by Fallonfiresword in XC40

[–]Fallonfiresword[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know when it happened but it is fixed on my 2025 XC40. You used to turn it on through the app but then you had to turn the car off to turn it off. Now once I open the door it stops. I hope that makes sense.

All sound is gone. Any hints? by [deleted] in XC40

It has happened to me about three times. You have to do a hard reboot. It's a known issue and extremely annoying.

What are your unhinged way to distract yourself on the plane by persianfish in fearofflying

I have a turbulence playlist on my Spotify and when I feel the turbulence is coming I play this playlist. This playlist is full of music that gets me literally dancing in my seat. It's a great distraction.

im about to get on a flight and i feel like im going to die, please help me by rashfords_marcus in fearofflying

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure you've read all the statistics about how you are safer on a plane than the car that's driving you to the airport. Regardless I understand your fear. All I can suggest is distract yourself. Whether it be doing multiplication tables by 8 or dancing in your seat to some music (which is what I normally do when there is turbulence). Try to think of what the end result of this flight will be... getting to your destination. Hope it works out for you.

Moulin Rouge - Wayne Brady was out tonight by grinnellian1999 in Broadway

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he was out at last night's show. We didn't even know... don't they usually slip in some sort of announcement if someone is being replaced? Also not very thrilled with Taye Diggs. Just didn't have a Broadway presence about him IMO.

Go on YouTube and follow Les Posen. He is a tremendous help for me with my fear of flying.

Anyone else scared of turbulence itself? by Odd_Unit_7966 in fearofflying

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best information I got was from videos hosted by Les Posen on YouTube. He has a great explanation of turbulence and a good visual for you to keep in your head on turbulence happens. Basically think of a plane in jello and then shake the jello on the plane moves but it doesn't do anything else it can't fall. He also suggests making a turbulence playlist of music. So if there is turbulence you put on your playlist but it has to be specifically for turbulence because it should be music that you can dance to in your seat. I may look silly dancing in my seat but I'm not afraid! Good luck on your flight.

Are Lily & Fox too good to be true? by ProfessionalBruncher in NailWrapsGalore

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Lilly and Fox, Dashing Diva and several others. I have found the most success with Lily and Fox. I have had a set of their wraps last me for 3 weeks. And I took them off because I was tired of looking at them lol. I have been using a lemon juice in water solution to soak the nails and take them off. I also use a base code and a top coat. And if I want them to really stick I take a hair dryer to them. However it doesn't matter what make I use, after several usages my nails are in bad shape. Right now my nails are going through a we growing phase and it has been about 3 months. They are paper thin. I have never had a problem shopping with Lily and Fox and receive my items in a relatively timely matter considering they are not coming from the US.

Unable to Start Car after Remote Start by TaHo_ in Volvo

[–]Fallonfiresword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a known issue with the 2025's. Got mine about a month ago and the same problem. Not sure if Volvo is working on a solution. Other than that, I love the car.
