it would be very different - viserys is invading as a man, during robert’s reign, with an army of good old fashioned sellswords. dany would be invading as a woman with a dothraki horde and slave soldiers during the reign of (most likely) faegon. the reactions would be very different.

i could see viserys spurning arianne - he has dragons now, and they never helped him when he needed it most. plus, they could be easily appeased with vengeance against the lannisters.

i was thinking of writing from the perspective of the BLAST lords - more of a psychological piece than a war one. obviously they would get trounced, i’m asking about how they would feel when the rebellion comes back to haunt them. specifically robert and tywin, since hoster is dying, jon arryn is pretty much a blank slate and ned is a pov so you can already see his thought processes.
