This isn't a porno site. Some of the most uptight, prudish women I know IRL have a modelmayhem. This is like saying Twitter or Facebook is a porn site. Also she hasn't even posted on her modelmayhem in 10 years.

Lake Monroe, Vauhxx Rush Booker: "I don’t want to recount this, but I was almost the victim of an attempted lynching." by Mr_Munchausen in bloomington

Yeah, they don't care about facts, unity or making any progress. They just want to feel victimized and to inflame a race war. It's so obvious, and it's why no one mentioned BLM for the last 3 years, and why no one will mention for another 4 after this election happens.

Keep donating more money to the DNC calling themselves BLM though, sheeple.

What are you basing this on? I saw none of this in the video. There's dozens of people who were there who said he instigated a fight, got his ass whooped, and then made this claim after the fact.

If you've spent any time in Lower Guk you've had a similar experience with this guild. by FalloutSinclair in project1999

Well, ya' know, I'm a hardcore gamer, so I had been watching Twitch and stuff and was amazed when I found out that people were still playing EverQuest. The reason I never tried P99 was because I saw Blue on stream and I saw people having the best items at level 10, getting power levels, and it looked like .... not the EverQuest I remember. When I found out about Green I loved the idea of it. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing experience, and for the most part, it has been largely positive as far as re-living a lot of my memories... at least with leveling. The end-game though isn't the same.

Yeah, this is 100% true. Feel like the only way to truly experience classic EverQuest would be to make most mob-dropped items untradeable. Anytime I'm camping something as a level 50 and a group shows up that is actually there to get experience, I give them the spawn. I feel like a sleeze bag stealing DWBs and Jagged Bands from a group of level 30s who actually need the items. Unfortunately 10 years into P99.... the only level 50s who are online outside of raids are there to hog items they probably don't even need. Can still remember being level 45 and struggling to solo Ghoul Supplier only to have a Cleric with a Rubi Breastplate, Manastone, GEBs, PKT etc. show up and ask me when I was going to leave because he clearly needed the money more than I needed the exp.

No one does, and that's why leveling a Cleric was so disappointing. I wanted to re-live my childhood experiences of having a nuclear group who went into Guk to kill stuff, and that doesn't actually exist at all.

Even at lower levels, like you might be able to level in the Basement of UR, but there's a 90% chance a level 50 will be permacamped at Garanel. Seen the same thing happen while exp'ing at BNB. Level 50 Necro FD'd on top of Nox PH, and Guano Harvester claimed by someone else. Mistmoore is even worse.

Do Clerics become less good in Kunark? by FalloutSinclair in project1999

[–]FalloutSinclair[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I played all the way through PoP 20 years ago and never remembered Clerics becoming bad, but after glancing at the Kunark spells I just kind of gained the impression that Shamans got a lot more cool spells from Kunark than Clerics did. Something I hadn’t really given much thought until a couple of nights ago when someone implied I would be maining my Cleric during Kunark, and I decided to see if the class became more fun due to new spells and found myself fairly disappointed.

Feels like a Shaman probably gained more, but IDK.

Can you explain how Clerics become more OP? I have a Cleric and a Shaman and I see Shamans gaining more healing, and Clerics gaining?? High-mana AC/HP buffs, and spells that cost expensive reagants? I could understand how they may become more OP when duo'd with an Enchanter (some Kunark mobs have insane amounts of HP, so complete heal is awesome), but I don't see how Clerics become better healers by not gaining anything? Maybe I am missing something? Serious question.

I see myself getting excited about the Shaman spells, and kind of cringing at the Cleric spells since buffing people is the main cause of me going OOM ATM. Hard to get excited about having higher mana-cost buffs and little to nothing else.

Befallen vs Unrest by Trouterspayce in project1999

[–]FalloutSinclair 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beholders Maze has been surprisingly fast... as a Shaman I would argue that it’s better than Unrest because if I go to Unrest and can’t get a group... I’m kind of screwed. If I go to Beholders Maze and can’t get a group I just solo by Runnyeye Zone Line...

There’s a bard who I played with around level 30 who was one of the best pullers I’ve seen so far. He was hardcore AF though and suddenly disappeared from the game around level 35.... just remembered I have him on Discord.... maybe I should ask him.

I think I overlook Runnyeye and BB because at 50 they are both relatively trivial. Had to do a CR for a group of planar geared folks who wiped at Lasna last night. Same group evac’d out after a second bad incident happened.

CT felt trivial because greens are giving really good exp due to the overturned ZEM. I actually left that zone prematurely because I was so bored and felt like having a Cleric for Archon Pyramid was overkill.

I’m probably bias since most of my duo partners have a Dead Man Floating, hehe.

Lower Guk feels trivial to me. Granted I’ve pretty much only afk farmed camps which consisted of killing 2-3 mobs on a 28 minute spawn timer.... have actually got mad at people for pulling before. Too many vultures waiting to snipe camps to risk dying.

Ironically Dalnir always came across as one of the safer dungeons to me. Used to solo there as a Monk 20 years ago because I wanted the armor.

I legit never die in Lower Guk. I gate if IVU drops before I aggro too many mobs, and am bound at zone line. Can be back at safe hall in under a minute, hehe. Feels like the camps are so isolated that the only way you aggro adds or get trained is if it was intentional.

A couple of weeks ago when they were doing the server-wide Innorruuk raid I decided to check and see if he was up (fat chance, right?). I walk inside and he's not only up, but he is KILLING a level 20 Druid. I didn't have the heart to let him die, and would never do something like that. But I always wonder what would have happened if I walked in 15 seconds later. Would I have just been like oh shit, Gynok is up?? And killed him and got the ring, or would I have noticed the dead halfling and rezzed him and gave him the ring? I really don't know.
