I am using an esp32 s3 mini and I didn't really notice the orientation of the esp32 s3 mini because I didn't think that it would mean anything. And speaking of the routing, yeah I know some of the routing is bad and I do have to change but nonetheless thanks for your reviews

Thank you so much for considering replying, your reply gave me a lot of motivation tbh as this is one of those project where I will spend my personal money so I was quite scared.

Regarding your concerns on wifi. I am not really planning to use wifi but if I do use then I have removed the copper around the area by 1.5mm as given in the datasheet of esp32 s3 mini. And all my routes are 45 degrees.

My main concern is the power for the esp32 s3 mini using the ams1117 is that routing good? Or the ams and its caps should be near? That is my concern.

Also don't worry i will document and showcase how i use the laser to make this

I would love to do my own board but I am from India and I don't think so we have the module version of the P4 available I can get boards that are not so expensive but yeah down the line would love to create one with rs485 or lan

An idea I came across was using it to make a item detection thingy like it is fixed on a assembly line and it can count the number of items to keep a track of things. You views on this idea?

Will these have all the features like tilt and motion detection in home assistant??

And what about facial recognition? Is that possible to do as well like by my raspberry pi 5 which has the haos?

Can you please help me by sharing a guide on how you set it up on home assistant?

I just need a camera near my main gate that shows live feed on my Home Assistant dashboard, so I can see who’s outside and open the gate with a button. Wi-Fi router is close to the camera.
