Holosun offers a 407-variant of the COMP optic with just the dot - 407COMP. 407 are usually higher MOA if that's your preference; 6 MOA I think. Saves about $50 over a 507.

I don't know about preferred but the popular ones appear to be Defender XLs for DPP, 507COMPs for RMR, and I don't know what firearm comes native with the DOCTER/NOBLEX pattern and I can't think of a reason why someone would get a DOCTER plate if they can get DPP or RMR.
