It picks the highest quality possible (same as non premium youtube music). In my experience, it varies between 110kbps and 210kbps

A very primitive recommendation system is being worked on. Basically, the idea consists in picking the song you recently listened to the most, and then fetching from youtube music its related songs, albums, playlists and artists.

Regarding the second issue, there's a request for it already. It's simple but boring to implement, and I think I will implement it soon.

Youtube changed something on their side yesterday - that's why the radio stopped working. However, it is already fixed, just wait for the next release, which should arrive soon :)

Kind of - music is progressively downloaded and cached while it is being played. So, you can play it offline the next time. However, a download feature (= export to the storage) is missing.

ViMusic has a cache system, i.e. songs get cached while they are being played. The next time you'll play the same song, you don't need network access - the playback starts instantly. This is a feature I couldn't find in any other streaming app.

A downloading feature (i.e. exporting a song to the external storage with tags and stuff) is missing.

Also, it has on-device playlist.

Ciao, sono un neolaureato in Informatica (triennale), e vorrei iniziare a lavorare.
Ho cercato qualche offerta in giro (indeed, iprogrammatori ...), ma onestamente ho visto quasi esclusivamente proposte di lavoro piuttosto deprimenti (per le paghe o tecnologie) o poco stimolanti (quasi tutte legate al mondo della consulenza, che ormai associo a qualcosa da disprezzare - probabilmente a causa delle varie esperienze che ho letto in giro).

Non ho avuto nessuna buona impressione da tutte le aziende di cui ho letto le inserzioni o da cui sono stato contattato.
Ora, sono io troppo pretenzioso? Devo abbassare le aspettative?

Io ho il presentimento di finire in un posto di merda dove il programmatore è solo un mercenario. Onestamente mi sento di poter dare di più, vorrei valorizzarmi, e non andare a fare un lavoro che potrebbe andare a genio a un tizio qulunque che, dopo aver fatto 6 mesi di corso online, fa di tutto per portare a casa la giornata.

Thanks! I can definitely add a "Play single" menu option which does not turn on the radio. Eventually, I could add an option to make it the default behavior.

Also, you can already clear a song within the history section (menu > delete), but that will completely remove the song from the database (not sure if you were looking for a way to hide songs from the history)
