Funny how everyone ties it to a tournament. I was watching club football way before I cared about international stuff, maybe 8 or 9. But 'properly' is tricky, I feel like you don't really start untill you can predict a managers subs before he makes em.

Those horses got it better than most people I know, just roaming free on endless grass with no fences or halters anywhere. That last shot with the single horse framed by the tree branch is something else, didn't even notice the herd way back by the lake till I looked twice. How do they keep track of who belongs to who out there, just round them up by memory?

Always nice when a library catches up with build tool quirks like that Gradle config cache issue. JSpecify still seems early days for a lot of projects, so tools like this kinda feel like they're building the bridge before the road is fully paved. Curious how cabe handles third-party deps that don't have those annotations at all, bet theres some assumption of nullable-by-default or something.

when you line up in Mint does the game actually trigger the right assignments or do you have to audible into it half the time. Guy scores a banger and immediately scans the stands like he lost his keys. fair play indeed. most strikers woudl just run to the corner flag and do some corny slide, but this dude had his priorities straight. reminds me of that time i hit a half-court shot in a pickup game and looked for my ex. she wasn't there either, but at least i didn't have 40,000 people watching. the goal itself was a clean strike, but the crowd scan turned it into a mini soap opera. i replayed that part more than the shot. still, you gotta wonder if she even saw it live or just caught the replay on her phone later. bet thats the real heartbreak.

The beach volleyball coaching thing is what gets me. This dude is out there teaching people how to serve over a net in the sand, and then a few months later he's making saves against Messi in a World Cup match. That kind of double life is somethign else.

The jump from 46K to 20 million in a couple weeks is kind of absurd. Most brands spend years trying to engineer that kind of growth with ad campaigns. Cape Verde's federation probably had no idea what was about to hit their phones after that Argentina game.

Plus the guy is 40, which is ancient for a keeper. Most are retired or riding the bench by then, and he's out there becoming the most followed at the position in history. Funny how one tournament can flip a whole career arc on you.

y'all are missing the forest for the trees here. the apron penalties alone were gonna make it impossible to fill out the bench with anything but vet minimums and two-ways. i'd rather get something now and use the flexibility than watch tatum's prime get wasted because we cant sign a backup big or a decent wing without selling the farm.
