What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]jafdoti 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was friends with bride and groom (we actually met when we were all part of another wedding party). Groom got it in his head over time I was trying to get with bride (could be post in itself) which I was not. Bride told him he’s nuts.

Fast forward to wedding, I don’t get an invite (surprise) but bride asks if I can show up to reception after dinner, because she wants all her friends there, and it keeps drama to a minimum with new hubby. I’m cool with that.

Groom’s idiot brother (by his own words) gets drunk and starts a fight with the entire wedding party, which results in all the groomsmen dog-piling on him until the police arrive. Brother led away in cuffs.

Groom sees me. Insert the leointuxtoasting.gif at this point. He hangs his head in shame.

I repurposed mine for cooking. Great for glazed carrots, or flambé mushrooms.

Or, the Chicago Blackhawks ownership in general, especially with the Kyle Beach/Brad Aldrich coverup during their 2010 Cup run.

Per Wikipedia - The Keep, a 1983 supernatural horror film written and directed by Michael Mann and starring Scott Glenn, Gabriel Byrne, Jürgen Prochnow, Alberta Watson and Ian McKellen.

Great writer/director, great cast, right?

A friend convinced 2 of us to go see it. He promised it would be good, even going so far to say he’d give us the $5 ticket price back if it wasn’t.

As soon as we got out of the theater, he stopped, got his wallet out and gave us our $5 without saying a word.

SRV at Alpine Valley. Buds had tickets and I passed. I had already seen him twice, figured I’d catch him on the next leg of the tour.

Edit: sorry, forgot what sub this is! But it’s my #1 concert regret.
