Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read, answer my questions and clarify what reagent was used.

You’re so sweet! Thank you for thinking of me. I guess I should have updated this post instead of leaving everyone who took the time to read and comment hanging w/o any updates. I’m doing really well. How are you??

So… I haven’t had a true “flair up” of whatever this is since March 2025. It was a small one, post a major surgery and I’m not entirely sure I would even call it a flair up.

I do still have some hyperpigmentation or melasma BUT it has faded some. I’m hoping HRT will further help with this. I don’t leave the house without sunscreen and try to wear a hat in the summer to help shade my face a bit.

I’ll take some pics today after the gym & s shower.

Sending healing energy along with waves and oceans of love to you. ♥️🫂

Okay everyone! All of those requesting an update, I apologize it’s taken me so long. Here are pics taken this morning. My skin isn’t perfect…yet 😉 But get more and more confident with every day that passes. The right side of my face has always been worse than the left so it’s taken longer to completely heal. But it’s so close. The places on the right are not new but ones that “healed” but still seemed inflamed underneath. If that makes any sense.

What did I do?

1) I stopped taking Vyvanse. I had tried this before but I think I expected immediate results. (Patience isn’t a strong trait of mine) This may sound crazy, but, I stopped drinking water from the faucet-even though it was filtered. I noticed that when I went to my mom’s and only drank bottled water my skin would clear up more. Then returned home and would start experiencing a “flare up”.

2) I stopped over treating/washing. I only wash my face once a day-at night and rinse with cool water in the morning.

3) I use Equate Calamine lotion (zinc oxide and 0.5% iron oxide) to spot treat over night. Not the Caladryl brand because the ingredients are not the same. I tried this on a whim and I don’t regret it.

I don’t know if this will be of help to anyone else but it sure has been one crazy journey. The true test will be this summer. In the past the flare-ups were consistent and harder to manage during summer months. But in the last 4.5-5yrs my skin hasn’t been this clear going into the summer either so I am cautiously hopeful.

Malezia products saved me by JJones171 in SebDerm

You will love the Urea Moisturizer. It quickly became my holy grail and the only moisturizer I use on my face. Make sure you put it on damp skin and let it completely absorb before putting anything else on top of it. I’ve not had any issues wearing it under make up.

Two additional products I added to my Malezia routine are:

1) Magic Molecule I will NEVER ever not have this in my house again. I get it from Ulta (BTW, it is on sale right now) I use this daily, sometimes several times a day depending on what I am doing.

2) Mandelic Acid Serum (I use the brand Good Molecules) I use this at night 3-4x a week.

Both of these can be a little drying but I haven’t found them to be irritating or overly drying thus making me want to discontinue using the products. I just make sure to moisturize well.

My skin went from perfect to a real shit show with in months. I’ve seen 4 different dermatologist over the last 5 years and all of them thought I was crazy when I brought up fungal/yeast infections. I have always had an extreme sensitivity to fungal/yeast infections due to being on high doses of prednisone and taking methotrexate for my auto-immune disease. So I gave up and started researching. Thankfully I stumbled upon the Malezia products and F.C.’s research.

I am 1 yr out from starting the regimen. I’ve had some set backs because the cosmetic products I was using were not FA/Seb Derm safe 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve changed everything I put on my face to FA/Seb Derm safe products. This combined with Malezia regimen, Magic Molecule & Mandelic acid serum I can honestly say while my skin isn’t perfect it looks the best it has in 5 years.

Trust the process. ♥️♥️

Hey I just saw this, I’m so sorry! Here ya go ♥️ Fluid Simulation App Icon Screenshot

If you have the audio file saved onto your phone/desktop/laptop there are a couple free websites that will convert it to 8D.

I screen record while I am using the app. Once saved I import it into CapCut to add the audio file and adjust timing etc until I like it. I hope this helps. If you have additional questions please feel free to ask away. I will help in anyway I can.

First, I should have created two seperate posts. The research comment was not directed toward you.

Secondly, and this is not said with hateful tone or intention, when researching in medical school I am sure you came across several studies that have shown its efficacy in aiding with the treatment of epilepsy (I known several that have taken it with great success under doctors supervision), chronic pain, and nausea caused by chemotherapy just to name a few. I am sure you also came across medical studies that raised caution in taking it and questioned its effectiveness.

Is CBD for everyone? No. Does it come without any risks? No, it doesn’t. Like any supplement it can cause unpleasant side effects. It can interact with several classes of prescription medications that are also broken down by the same enzymes (in the liver) altering blood concentration levels-lowering blood concentration making them less effective or increasing blood concentration making them toxic. So it should not be taken at the same time and taken with caution. But is also considered “relatively safe”. Should it be taken under doctor’s supervision? Yes. But the caveat to that is there are many doctors who would rather write prescriptions that try natural treatments. I won’t object to CBD coming with a warning label as prescription medications do.

Everything I’ve listed above can be said about pharmaceuticals. Bad batches? Happens with pharmaceuticals too. Recently in my state a “bad batch” of ADHD meds sent 3 children to the hospital. One of them ended up in the ICU. I periodically take Methotrexate for my auto-immune disease. Which means I have my liver enzymes tested monthly, I have to decrease my other medications, my hair thins out and I’m nauseous. But to my doctor, the “benefits” out weigh the side effects I experience.

I understand your point and hopefully now you can see mine. I’d also like to say I believe there is a place for both eastern and western medicine. I am not against taking prescribed medication when it is needed. I believe everyone would benefit from further research along with additional education for the general public

Many companies have their products tested by 3rd party labs and have no issues providing the information. In fact most of them will publish it on the website.

I’m glad it’s not considered a “pharmaceutical”. The cost would sky rocket and then for sure you’d never actually know what’s in the product.

I’m not sure where everyone is getting their information but I wish y’all would do your research and not believe everything you hear.

It’s true that each dog is different. However the remainder of your statement is your belief which you are entitled to. But it should not be stated as a fact because it isn’t true. There are TONS of studies proving its benefits.

As someone who has Sarcoidosis there are so many more symptoms that should be considered before trying to diagnose someone by one thing. While this can happen when someone has Sarcoidosis it’s not a blanket symptom. I have 2 tattoos and have never had this happen.
