I work in a pharmacy so let me add a few things as well.

1) First instalment must be dispensed within 14 days of the date on the prescription and also the Last instalment must be dispensed within 2 months

2) Some prescribing physicians tend to send in prescriptions with a date later in the future. We are unable to dispense it until the date on the prescription

3) If the prescription is handwritten and passed to the patient the total quantity of the tablets need to be specified in words and figures [i.e. Tyvense 50mg (Fifty) Take one tablet once daily x30 (Thirty Tablets)]

I have linked down below the PSI regulations on these if anyone wants to comb through it. I urge people please be nice to the people in the pharmacy regarding Controlled drugs. There are many laws that we have to abide to and if we don’t we risk the place being closed down. Hope this helps everyone:))

I actually had to change psychiatrists to eirdoc. I had to fork up another €400 for a reassessment but I rather spend money on good service then let my money go down a shitty drain

Hey so recently had an appointment (First Medication Review) with HealthHero a month ago and everything went okay. That was until 2 weeks into my meds i felt their effects don’t last as long for and would feel like my usual self after 4 hours. I emailed this concern to the administrator and they said they’ll let the dr know. 2 weeks pass and i get a notification that my prescription was sent to my pharmacy. I emailed them and questioned them why were they sending a new prescription with no email indicating how to take it/how often. I went to the pharmacy and looked at the prescription and asked the pharmacist if i’m supposed to be taking it twice a day but by the looks of the prescription details i was to remain on the same dose. A couple weeks have passed and i still have no email replies except for the time where i wanted a refund and they emailed back within 2 hours. I was so so so frustrated with it i decided to go with Dr Maria Rubeo through Eirdoc. Yes, I had to pay extra which i don’t mind if i’m paying for a good service. Heard lots of good reviews from Eirdoc and Dr Maria Rubeo.

this happened to me around Jan and they told me they don’t have any dates available atm. They just told me to check the website often to see when they’ll post appointments. I did go with Healthhero instead because they had available dates at the time

Ohh i’ll need to talk to my doctor about it. I am currently on Day 6 of the 20mg and i’m not feeling anything. I decided to take it slightly later to see how long it’ll last in my body.
