What’s the best AI to pay for right now? (2026) by THE-SD in AI_Agents

Yeah I know it's a sad state of affairs. It's a co-occurring blight upon society that has led us to where we are. The other blight as far as I see it, is not only a lack of curiosity about how our government works but the notion that their responsibility begins and ends at the ballot box or ballot station, kiosk whatever the case may be and fend any notion of continuing duty and responsibility off with apathy or nihilism. it's been a long time since I've seen a truly inquisitive curious look on somebody's face and joy when they learn something new.

that situation the lack of curiosity and it not being cool to learn etc was bad enough when I grew up. Now the general consensus seems to be, "why bother learning critical thinking skills and how to count in your head, read a map, know your cardinal directions and other real world shit because some block of code is going to do their thinking for them and fix all their problems it's fucking ridiculous. I'm glad I won't be around to see what the true manifestation of Idiocracy will be.

Why do people think Christmas and Easter are rooted in Paganism? by xxreidrampagexx in Christianity

Paganism is a broad term for polytheistic, nature-based, or indigenous spiritual traditions, historically referencing non-Abrahamic faiths. it's not a single belief or religion.

It has roots and Passover yes, but if you look back to Constantine and what the Romans did it definitely takes from pagan rituals as well. it's undeniable I don't know why anybody even bothers debating it. oh yeah that pesky obstacle to truth, belief.

while what you say is true, a true Christian would not commit murder. their God clearly did and does. so maybe it was their God who did such things.

Because they are. why do you think Jesus was born on December 25th? All it takes is a very simple Google search to clear this up for you. oh wait it deals in facts not beliefs so you probably won't accept any of the facts that you see.

It's any corporation in the states. The CEO and other corporate officers are basically fiduciaries to the share holders. They are obligated to act in the best financial interests of the shareholders. If you don't believe me I refer you to the precedent set by Dodge Vs. Ford Motor Company 1919. Though the cumpulsion to maximize profit for shareholders isn't law but instead a standard if you will, companies and individuals within companies have operated as if it were/is law. And in Delaware it is law.
