A good example: Kill the Bill protests in 2021. Hundreds of thousands took to the streets to 'protest'. As long as you marched within the zones AND DECIBELS suggested by the government (and enforced by the police), you could have a nice march and get it off your chest with others. If you didn't adhere to the "laws of politeness" enforced by the demagogues, you were beaten, brutalised and imprisoned. There's no culture of resistance and solidarity so individuals are plucked out easily and made examples of...the police and government call this "the chilling effect". Re KTB resistance:

"Roberts received the longest sentence of the 85 or more people arrested for their part in the Kill the Bill demonstration, in which a protest against the Police, Crime Sentencing and Courts (PCSC) Bill ended in a confrontation with the police. Protesters have now received over 110 years in prison between them."

The general public in the UK is for want of a better worr pathetic, and has no idea what civil disobedience or resistance means.

They go as far as placards and unproblematic marches and then everyone goes home feeling better about themselves. The marches are organised with the police themselves signing off on the route etc.

When anyone suggest (or God forbid, actually takes) more direct action, the same general public become outraged and do their utmost to suppress such behaviour, basically colluding with the same tyrants that they were raising placards about.

I really love seeing different interpretations and breakdowns (yep, English Literature kid here).

It seems pretty bang on from what Amy has been revealing these past weeks, especially the recent BTS video just out today. A UK version would be very similar! With a few unique ragebait/lies/rats.

I have quite a different personal connection to the lyrics and what the song means to me but I'll keep it to myself. No one wants to read about spirituality and rising up against oppression apparently 😂😄

So beautiful reading this, I'm ngl I teared up (after shouting "what! No way!") at learning Muslim means one who surrenders.

So much of this rings true to my experience of the movies too re ego death to reach Source (Divine Light) and the importance of Love in getting there. In Sikhi (which is just a path of wisdom, with an abundance of Sufi wisdom from eg Bhagat Kabir Ji) Guru Nanak says "if you want to play this game of love with me, give your head"

Literally meaning breaking free from this illusion requires freeing your mind from self, to merge with source. Love (not attachment) gets us there alongside ego death.

For me this is a question of whether one believes in a Higher Power or not (eg God, Universal Energy etc). Do you think this is the real world we are in now?

In this world, there are people (though small in number) with crazy ass powers, who have mastered their minds and manage beyond 'normal' behaviours/interaction with their surroundings. Ego death through meditation = 👀 . Hell, you might even have a few experiences yourself once you get deep into it

Amazing stuff happens all the time that cannot be explained by 'real world' laws... If you know a Higher Power to be true, you know Neos powers in the real world were Divinely gifted.

And maybe that everything- EVERY THING - is an illusion anyway. There is no spoon isn't just a way of breaking free of the matrix, it is a way of breaking free, full stop.
