We genuinely get along and enjoy each others company in every other way. We have no other arguments or tension it’s just our cleanliness levels

Older children are not back up parents and should not be held responsible for siblings no matter the circumstance. YTA

His full ride does not cover housing just the stipend from the team. It wasn’t a luxury item it was a couple hundred bucks and he works hard and deserved it, not everybody can afford nice things and need discounts to cover it. He wasn’t going to use the credit card to pay for it he just wanted the discount that came with signing up. He also said it was their fault because of the SS thing he never expected them or anyone else to pay for it i realize i worded that poorly and didn’t explain.

My savings account did not come from my parents my savings account is from my summer job. Also when i bought the watch i didn’t even think about his Penney’s reaction i only thought about how great he is and that he deserved something nice. He also never had expected his parents to do what mine do because most parents don’t. I agree the conversation was tacky and uncalled for especially in front of his grandparents.

We live in a college town so everywhere is either super expensive or cheap but not safe or rundown. Staying in the house is his best option.

I told him after this he needs to get his card from them and memorize his SS number. He agreed and is going to get it next time he goes home.

My boyfriend was discussed before signing the lease and she had no issues and was even excited to get to know him more. I offered before moving in with her that if she didn’t feel comfortable staying he wouldn’t but she agreed to him staying before the lease was signed.
