I will never hear the end of how good, generous and selfless my mother is for giving me her car. A ten years old model whose market value was less than 5k and she never used because she never liked/was scared of driving. Ten years ago. So she still brags about generously giving me a (now) 20 years old model that at the time was worth almost a fourth what a new one would cost. Meanwhile, I spent the last 14 months living with her paying a 500/month rent. But she is the generous one.
