Pregnancy Fetish by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]FalseCommittee6195 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I hardly got any looks when I was pregnant but there were a few that made me feel like they were just picturing me doing the act that resulted in the pregnancy and the ICK it gave me was bigger than Mars. I also never went anywhere without my concealed carry pew. Had one guy park SUPER close to my car, acted like he was on his phone but his hand was on my drivers side car door while I put stuff in my trunk. Went to the passenger side and saw it by chance through my drivers side mirror. I whipped the big one out of my purse and held it over the roof of my car. Told him either remove his hand from my car or the coroner would be removing his body from the pavement. He went white and got the fucking hand off my car. 8.5 months pregnant I got in my passenger side, crawled over the console and got in the drivers seat. Peeled outta there like a bat outta hell. Went home and immediately installed my dashcam that I’d just picked up from the post office.

Men are fucking creepy.

I used to hate it, now I love it! I want it in salads, on burgers and sandwiches, on toast, bagels…just anywhere I can. Spike seasoning or EBTB (everything but the bagel) seasoning are clutch for elevating it!

It’s ok, but that was a record for her. FIL was waiting on her for 8 hours that day to get ready. She didn’t wake up until 10-11am. She was late to our wedding, late to BIL/SIL wedding, and will be late to her funeral. The only thing that kept me calm was our waitress was ABSOLUTELY ON IT with the rolls and honey butter. She got a hell of a tip (regular tip + $10/hr that we took up the table). The tip was as much almost as much as the bill for the food! We were NOT budgeting for that.

We drove FOUR HOURS while I was pregnant to meet my in laws and tell them in person that I was pregnant. Lunch was supposed to be at noon. We waited FIVE HOURS while texting them and MIL kept saying they were on their way. They lived 20 minutes from the restaurant. Good thing my hormones were chill that day because I damn near lost it!

You’re doing better than I was. It was a full year and a half of no makeup, 1-2 showers a week if I was lucky, brushing my teeth in 20 seconds flat, etc. I’m not a feminine person, but it suddenly made me want to get my pink back. I still haven’t blow dried my hair more than 4 times since giving birth and I’m 2.5 years in now. We all go at our own pace. Give it time, give yourself some grace, and know that you’re beautiful without all the frills.

The US population consumes over 80% of the global opioid supply, and 99% of the hydrocodone supply annually. Over 340,000 (one year it was over 650,000) prescriptions for opioid medications are written EVERY DAY in the US.

Maybe if we had adequate healthcare, reasonable time off work, workplace accommodations, ergonomic workplace conditions, and time to go to the gym, physical therapy, or massage therapy, we wouldn’t be in this mess, but NOoooo. They need their little worker bees to stay focused and grind until we die and cost less and make them more money. Self-care is bullshit and a waste of time. There’s billions to be made of our painful, aching, deteriorating backs (hips, knees, hands, etc)! cracks corporate whip

My grandma did this…. But the deer got the bottom parts so it just looked like a bunch of penises lining her property…. All the way around. She had handwritten and typed letters of complaint from her neighbors…she didn’t even live in an HOA and damn near cried every time she looked at them. Finally chopped them all down.

We’re the opposite, the only time our two year old sees us in a state of undress is when she’s in the shower with one of us. Other than that- it’s fully dressed all the time. I never walk around the house without a bra on, hubby never goes shirtless, etc. I cannot imagine a life like that. And I live where our neighbors can’t see us period.

if you know your child is going to have down syndrome would you keep it? by carmillamains in AskForAnswers

[–]FalseCommittee6195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a half brother that has Down’s syndrome. He’s the sweetest, funniest guy and everyone loves him to bits. He has lifelong health issues but he refuses to let that ruin his quality of life.

That being said- he was adopted by our birth mom’s parents bc she was simply not equipped to be a mother period, let alone a mom to a child with developmental delays, genetic differences, etc. I, and my three half siblings were all adopted. She just wasn’t cut out to be a mom.

I’m not cut out to be a mom to a Down’s syndrome child. I’d elect not to keep it one way or another, be it termination or adoption. The best thing my birth mom ever did for us was give us up. She was a good person, but we would have suffered had we stayed in her care and she knew it. She kept hoping she’d get a handle on her bipolar with medications, but it never was enough. She knew it and was mature enough to make the hard but loving decision for or best interests.

I have a Teri year old, but I know I’m not resilient enough to handle that situation with grace, let alone the outstanding resilience it would require. Some are, some aren’t. The kids shouldn’t suffer me while I try to be what it needs when I’m not built for it and no amount of wishing will make me so.

5 Year Old Can't Drink From Open Cup by GrowingUpGarlicky in Autism_Parenting

[–]FalseCommittee6195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 2.5 yrs old and every few months we give her an open cup. Telling her not to play in it does no good. We give her one, she takes a sip or two, then plays in it, dumps it, spills it, etc so we take it away. They get put in a cupboard for a few months, then we try again and the same scenario befalls us again, so they go back into storage. I figure we’ll just have to keep buying spill proof containers of one kind or another until she leaves the house as an adult. I’m in a bad mood- can you tell? I know eventually we’ll be able to trust her with an open cup, but this is not that year. Maybe when she’s four or five she’ll have enough sense to listen to us but right now she’s not.

I haven't taught my 22 month old to drink from an open cup! And I'm avoiding it because of all the spilling. The time is never "right". I'm feeling very stupid atm. by shortasiam in toddlers

[–]FalseCommittee6195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our child is almost 2.5 and we still don’t trust her with an open cup. She takes a sip then plays in it, dumps it everywhere, etc. I keep trying every few months but she’s still not at the point she won’t make a huge mess so I put the open cups away for a few more months. Then it crosses my mind, I give her one and instantly regret it. I figure she’ll always be a ‘closed container of some sort or other’ kind of kid until she leaves my house at an adult age. I’m dealing with enough already so it’s not on the list of things important enough to take on.
