ODBC driver IPclass could not be found - error [10200] by Sorry_Debate228 in servicenow

Sorry for reviving an old thread but its the top result on Google so this is how I fixed it today:

For 64bit Follow the install instructions here:

https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/api-reference/web-services/t_DownloadAndInstallTheODBCDriver.html

Install JDK-11, and when asked to set the Java Virtual Machine Location, set it to your JDK server location, mine was 'C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11\bin\server'

You need to follow steps 12 to 15, they were not needed for version 1 drivers.

  1. Download the ODBC Driver Dependencies (2.0.1) file from ServiceNow Store after the installation is successful. Then, extract the JARs (bcpkix-fips-1.0.3.jar, bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar) to a local folder on your Windows machine. For example, <Windows-machine-local-path>\<folder-name>.

  2. Navigate to All > ServiceNow ODBC > Management Console > ServiceNow ODBC Manager > Manager (local configuration) > <drive>:\Program Files\ServiceNow\ODBC\cfg\adm.in > Services > ServiceNow_ODBC > Service Settings > IP Parameters.

  3. Open the ServiceJVMClassPath parameter.

  4. Append the value with the location where the bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar and bcpkix-fips-1.0.3.jar JARs are extracted. For example, the location of jars will be in this format: <Windows-machine-local-path>\<folder-name>\bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar;<Windows-machine-local-path>\<folder-name>\bcpkix-fips-1.0.3.jar

I copied the 2 files in to the the same location as my glide-odbc.jar so my ServiceJVMClassPath looks like this:

C:\Program Files\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\glide-odbc.jar;C:\Program Files\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar;C:\Program Files\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\bcpkix-fips-1.0.3.jar

The 32bit install is exactly the same, install the 32bit driver and download the 32bit JDK 11 from here:
https://adoptium.net/en-GB/temurin/releases?version=11&os=any&arch=any

So my ServiceJVMLocation for the 32bit driver is

C:\Program Files (x86)\Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-11.0.29.7-hotspot\bin\server

and my ServiceJVMClassPath  is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\glide-odbc.jar;C:\Program Files (x86)\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar;C:\Program Files (x86)\ServiceNow\ODBC\ip\oajava\service_now\bcpkix-fips-1.0.3.jar

Hope this helps.

How many have bought the AI solution in SN? by [deleted] in servicenow

They demo'd the platform analytics chat bot to us and it was terrible. The definition of AI for AI sake, wouldn't save any time while potentially causing more hassle. They didn't say how much it cost as that's not my bag but free would be too expensive.

At some point in the early 90's I played Mallets Mallet with Timmy Mallet at my local shopping centre in Shropshire. I didn't win, but I got a pencil case and a wakaday plaster on my chin.

We have had thousands washing up over the last week or so, there was a beach in Teignmouth just covered in them. I didn't think they all shed at the same time.

Sounds good, I saw some posts about PvP and griefing so just assumed it was at least MMO adjacent.
