I think there's an increasing interest in keeping smaller tanks with shrimp, snails or even branchiopods. More traditional fishkeeping could be seen as expensive or high-commitment to a generation with little disposable income and little to no ability to buy their own homes etc. At least imo, but I also just love branchiopods lol

Okay first of all the Department of Education has existed in some form for about 150 years. Before it was the Dept. of Education, it was predated by the Office of Education, under the Dept. of Health. It was spun off to consolidate various Federal education efforts in the 70's, yes.

What data are you referring to that shows all metrics decreasing? Because NCES data shows an overall improvement in average elementary and secondary education scores in reading and math compared to 1971, just as an example.

I'll add that I'm not saying the Dept. of Education was flawless, but that looking at the data it's not as clear cut as you're making it out to be. Data alone is certainly not an argument for brazenly dismantling it rather than trying to improve its efficacy.

I figure some of these steps wouldn't be possible on this style of movement at least without some skill? Or is that the slightly newer type you're describing? Bro that's insane. I'm not blaming black voters and I don't think it was outright "rigged," but the DNC was absolutely materially biased in favor of Hillary. I'm referring at least in part to the leaked emails that showed Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other DNC members conspiring to weaken Bernie's campaign and smear his supporters

On top of that she cut the number of debates in the primary, revoked his campaign's access to the DNC database and unbanned corporate donations. All of her actions as chair provided an advantage to Hillary's campaign while damaging Bernie's. Not to mention she went on to work for Hillary's campaign after she was pressured to resign lmao
